Hola, Queridos Hivers!
Les traigo el cuento de un cumpleaños feliz! Algo retrasado gracias a la celebración interminable, pero aquí está!
Ayer, 15 de Junio, fue el día especial de mi mamá, y qué mejor manera de celebrarlo que haciendo las cosas que a ella más la divierten?
Comenzamos el día con un regalo mañanero de nuestros familiares/vecinos Andreína, José y sus hijas. Llegaron muy temprano con un gran plato de empanadas de pollo y carne mechada echas por ellos mismos. Unas delicias!
Después de desayunar, Michelle, mi mamá y yo empezamos a hacer un pie de parchita con buena música de fondo. Mientras ellas se encargaban del relleno, yo me encargué de hacer la galleta.
Andreína también nos invitó a almorzar, así que mientras esperábamos el almuerzo, nos comimos unas frutas con un poco de la crema chantilly que había sobrado.
Una vez listos, tanto nosotros como el pasticho, bajamos al piso dos, y comenzó la fiesta!
Otra cosa que a mi mamá le encanta hacer es cantar karaoke, y aprovechando la corneta con micrófono que teníamos a nuestra disposición en ese momento, lo hicimos!
Comencé yo cantándole una canción especial a mi mami por su cumpleaños, luego ella cantó una que le pedí, y poco a poco se fueron incorporando los demás.
Fue muy divertido, porque de vez en cuando para descansar las voces, poníamos música y empezábamos a bailar. Teníamos un desorden jajaja.
Después de muchos cantos, chistes, y risas, llegó la hora de cantar cumpleaños. José y Andreína también sorprendieron a mi mami con una torta hermosa! Sus corazones bondadosos brillaron mucho ese día. Mil gracias!
Cantamos cumpleaños con esa torta, y comenzó la hora loca! Pusimos unas changas de la época de cuando mi mamá iba a la discoteca, y nos desatamos! Jajaja
De verdad que fue un gran día, y me alegra mucho que mi mamá la haya pasado bien. Se lo súper merece!!

I bring you the story of a happy birthday!
A little delayed thanks to the endless celebration, but here it is!
Yesterday, June 15th, was my mom's special day, and what better way to celebrate than doing the things she enjoys the most?
We started the day with a morning treat from our relatives/neighbors Andreína, José, and their daughters. They arrived very early with a large plate of homemade chicken and shredded beef empanadas. Delicious!
After breakfast, Michelle, my mom, and I started making a passion fruit pie with good music in the background. While they were busy making the filling, I took charge of making the crust.
Andreína also invited us for lunch at her apartment, so while we waited for lunch, we ate some strawberries with some leftover whipped cream.
Once we and the pasticho were ready, we went down to the second floor, and the party began!
Another thing my mom loves to do is sing karaoke, and taking advantage of the speaker and microphone we had at our disposal at the time, we did it!
I started by singing a special song for my mom for her birthday, then she sang one I requested, and little by little the others joined in.
It was a lot of fun, because every now and then, to relax our voices, we put on some music and started dancing. We were quite messy, haha.
After lots of singing, jokes, and laughter, it was time to sing happy birthday. Gollito and Andreína also surprised my mom with a beautiful cake! Their kind hearts shone brightly that day. Thank you so much!
We sang happy birthday with that cake, and the crazy hour began! We played some songs from my mom's days at the disco, and we let loose! Hahaha
It was truly a great day, and I'm so glad my mom had a good time. She totally deserves it!!
