Hola, Queridos Hivers!
Ayer nos fuimos de paseo mis padres y yo, y la pasamos de maravilla!
No teníamos planeado ir a ningún lado, pero a petición de mi mamá, nos vestimos con nuestras nuevas prendas del emprendimiento de arte oriental "Vivo Bonito", y nos fuimos a la Plaza Altamira a conocerla.
Tomamos un bus que nos dejó en la plaza del frente, y después de turistear ese pedacito y tomarnos fotos con los osos, cruzamos la carretera y llegamos a la plaza.
Una vez allí nos abrazó una brisa fresca, acompañada de una hermosa vista. Caminamos hasta el final, hacia las letras de Yo ♡ Chacao, y nos tomamos varias fotos allí, porque de verdad que es muy bonito. También vimos un monumento detrás de ellas, y tanto en la cuadra en la que nos dejó el bus, cómo ahí mismo cerca de las letras, dos vírgenes: María Auxiliadora, y La Milagrosa.
Llegamos hasta atrás, dónde hay una especie de pasillito con banquitos, y detrás el edificio Altamira. Vimos unas fuentes, que a esa hora estaban apagadas, y unas flores violetas muy lindas!
Cuando terminamos de recorrer la plaza, nos empezamos a preguntar: y ahora? Fue allí cuando recordamos una heladería que mi papá tiene tiempo queriendo visitar, así que la buscamos en Google Maps a ver si podíamos ir a pie, y si! Estaba super cerca, así que arrancamos a caminar sin mirar atrás ni prestarle atención al cansancio que pudieramos sentir, ya que sabíamos que en el destimo nos esperaba un buen helado que valdría la pena!
Al llegar allí, vimos todos los sabores coloridos y llamativos que estaban en la vitrina. La chica que nos atendió nos dió la opción de probar los que desearamos, y aunque teníamos ganas de probarlos todos, nos aguantamos jejeje.
La verdad es que los helados estaban demasiado buenos! Los súper recomiendo, la heladería se llama Vassari Gelato, y vale la pena 100%. Y lo mejor de ese momento no fueron los helados, fue ver a mi papá feliz y satisfecho porque pudo ir a ese lugar que tenía tanto tiempo anhelando visitar. Eso me hizo muy feliz!
Ya en la caminata de vuelta si ibamos con menos energía, pues no habría recompensa en el destino... o al menos eso pensabamos! Si la plaza les pareció bonita de día, esperen a verla de noche!
Al llegar vimos el monumento con luces de los colores de la bandera, luces detrás de las letras de Yo ♡ Chacao, las fuentes encendidas, una cascadita que daba a la entrada del metro... De noche la plaza se convierte en un lugar mágico que dan ganas de no abandonar nunca!
Sin embargo ya era hora de irnos, así que después de repetir todas las fotos que tomamos temprano, tomamos un bus de vuelta a casa.
La pasé muy bien, y me alegra mucho haber compartido esta experiencia junto a las personas que más amo en el mundo, mis padres.

Hello, Dear Hivers!
Yesterday my parents and I went for a walk, and we had a wonderful time!
We hadn't planned to go anywhere, but at my mom's request, we dressed up in our new clothes from the oriental art business "Vivo Bonito" and went to the Plaza Altamira to explore it.
We took a bus that dropped us off at the plaza in front, and after sightseeing and taking pictures with the bears, we crossed the road and arrived at the plaza.
Once there, a cool breeze embraced us, accompanied by a beautiful view.
We walked to the end, toward the Yo ♡ Chacao letters, and we took several photos there, because it really is very beautiful. We also saw a monument behind them, and both on the block where the bus dropped us off and right there near the letters, two Virgins: María Auxiliadora (Mary Help of Christians) and La Milagrosa (The Miraculous Virgin).
We made it to the back, where there was a sort of walkway with benches, and behind it was the Altamira building. We saw some fountains, which were off at that time, and some very pretty purple flowers!
When we finished walking around the plaza, we started to wonder: what now? It was then that we remembered an ice cream shop my dad has been wanting to visit for a while, so we looked it up on Google Maps to see if we could walk there, and yes! It was super close, so we started walking without looking back or paying attention to how tired we might feel, since we knew that on our way back, a good ice cream awaited us that would be worth it!
When we got there, we saw all the colorful and eye-catching flavors in the display case. The girl who served us gave us the option to try any of them, and although we were eager to try them all, we held back, hahaha.
The truth is, the ice creams were too good! I highly recommend them. The ice cream shop is called Vassari Gelato, and it's 100% worth it. And the best part of that moment wasn't the ice cream, it was seeing my dad happy and satisfied because he was able to go to that place he'd been wanting to visit for so long. That made me so happy!
On the walk back, if we were feeling less energetic, there wouldn't be any reward at the destination... or at least that's what we thought! If you thought the plaza was beautiful during the day, wait until you see it at night!
Upon arrival, we saw the monument with lights in the colors of the flag, lights behind the lyrics of Yo ♡ Chacao, the fountains lit up, a waterfall leading to the subway entrance... At night, the plaza becomes a magical place that makes you want to never leave!
However, it was time to go, so after taking all the photos we took earlier, we took a bus back home.
I had a wonderful time, and I'm so glad I shared this experience with the people I love most in the world: my parents.
