Hey Actifitters,
As mentioned after our great but quick and tiring visit to Lyon, the plan for the next few days was to take it easy. And indeed that's what we did. But we didn't stay completely idle. First we went for a short walk with Sam.
The vegetation seems to be taking over some of the paths, but that doesn't seem to bother Sam at all.
Normally, he's used to walk a lot with my mother but the last few weeks she's been unable to walk much due to extreme pain caused by sciatica. So I think Sam was very happy to see me, he knew that meant we'd go for walks.
We kept it short though with just a few easy trails nearby.
Late afternoon, I also went for a short run. It was a new test offered by Samsung Health. Basically the goal is to run 12 minutes as far as possible, and based on that they supposedly assess your level and create a training plan for you. I'll try and talk more about that in Exhaust community, but in short it completely failed as they prepared a plan with a target much slower than the pace I can already reach without training... AI is not always the solution! Anyways, it was good to run a bit after a few weeks.
And finally, just before it got really dark, we went for another short walk with Sam.
Again, just in the same area as the first walk, because I didn't want to walk too far.
Plus, the views ain't bad at all. I won't call it a city but I guess it's bigger than a village. And that part is the industrial zone, many plants and factories there.
But the best is of course the views on my favorite hills. I can guarantee these hills will be featured very often in my reports for the next few days!
And that was it for the day. A relaxing day in my hometown with almost 20k steps, I guess that's not too bad. But that also means I'm out of the July #poprzeczka competition. I made it on the podium though, so I'm happy with that performance.
