Hey Actifitters,
When we saw Le Chat in such a good mood yesterday (really, look at that face!), we couldn't help but hang out with her in the yard.
But when Kaia saw all these deer in the front yard, we also had to go. Most of them fled very far, but a few of them were there, looking at us, until Kaia chased them of course.
After the big chase, Kaia came back to play again with Le Chat.
And finally, the real activity: a walk to the forest of course. But the sun was getting low on the horizon, so we made a sunset stop before.
It's bonus when you can catch a deer on the same snap.
A younger one, probably her fawn, was a little further, but fortunately we saw them reuniting, as we entered the forest.
It was a similar route, just in the opposite direction.
They never planted new trees where many of them fell during a big storm a few years ago, but nature is slowly taking over again.
And it's starting! Fall colors will be here soon! Hope we can visit a few places to enjoy them.
And that was it for the day's activities. Not so bad for a rest day. Let's see if I can go for a run on Monday and keep the running streak alive.
