Hey Actifitters,
Technically our activities yesterday started just after Midnight when we tried to get Moon shots. The eclipse wasn't visible in this part of the world but we still had a beautiful Corn full Moon. As I mentioned many times, my cell phone is already able to snap pretty good Moon shots. And yes, I'm aware of the AI controversy around Samsung phones and Moon pictures. But all I care is the photos I can get:
But yesterday I tested something else for even better photos. A couple years ago, i reached a seniority milestone at work and my gift was a small telescope. Nothing super fancy but still worth trying and I finally unboxed it. I attached my cell phone to it and could get a few very nice photos, including the cover pic and the next one. Details are much sharper and colors a bit more realistic. I'll have to try this set up again, maybe with planets too.
As for real activities, it was much later. I decided to postpone my run because my knees were a little too stiff from my run two days before, and we just went for our daily walk when darkness was already upon us.
Kaia was a blur in the forest, so excited after waiting all day for her off-leash time !
We chose a semi short route in the forest, but still took the time to visit some of the best spots.
Kaia chased a few critters in the dark and led us on the trails until it was time to walk back.
And that was it. I'm surprised I almost made it to 20k steps because it felt like a lazy day mostly. Hopefully I can go for a run on Tuesday and keep the streak going. But I'm pretty sure I won't make it to the bar for #poprzeczka competition August session. As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
