Hey Actifitters,
We didn't have anything special planned for this week end, but with the temperature finally back down a little bit, I wanted to resume my running training on Saturday. Of course, there were priorities before that. Like hanging out with Le Chat in the yard...
And checking out the beautiful fall colors at the same time.
Of course, before our daily walk, we also stopped by the small forest behind the front yard. Kaia was all business as usual, while Le Chat was a lot more about laziness!
And then the bigger forest of course!
Once again, near the big opening where all the trees fell a few years ago, we found a few deer and that was great for Kaia to stretch her legs!
I can see she's not getting any younger though. In the past, if she stayed behind for any reason, she'd run back full speed. Now after a few chases, she just jogs back slowly and she can't hide she's tired.
Anyways, just a few more loops with beautiful brownish and yellowish vegetation and we were on our way.
We saw more deer but we stayed pretty far, because I didn't want Kaia to bother them any more than she already did before.
After that, I had plenty of time for a good run. After a week without running, my will power wasn't at its best and I did walk a bit after about 5km. But in the end, about 11km in one hour, that could have been worse. I do have to train more seriously this week, with the Detroit half marathon less than a month from now. That should help for #poprzeczka competition.
