Hello Hivers, Good day!! How’s your day, hivers? I hope you are okay today hehehe. ![Cream Beige boho Background Instagram Post_20250824_115810_0000.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/manzoriza713/AK7zu2Apvd3ScLGDQipPTRUhVUt46rbkUmSYQ9EorHW6QP4kYP7EqLJCtty8Kui.png) I simply wish to narrate my minor experience as a psychology student. Our teacher provided us with a project on infancy and babyhood. The assignment should involve interviewing the mothers and not only observing them, on the babies. We have to pose some interrogatives and even capture a picture as evidence to our assignment. Initially, I was a bit nervous as I was unsure whether it would be permitted by the mothers or not. However, I felt excited as well because it is new learning to me. ![IMG_20250827_143718.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/manzoriza713/23uFeHks3gtmeQer19JD9Qghc46k3hTp9wPhsYxaXErNHqZZ4twRoQCoSaBumCvqAzFFA.jpg) First, I have visited Jelmi to receive an invitation to interview her and her baby. It understand, it got a smile, said. That pleased me so much and relieved me. Lastly I had my first project participant. I also then sent my friend, Apple a message asking whether she would allow me to see her baby. She also assented and gave me the go ahead. This is due to the fact that it is actually difficult to get mothers to provide the time to handle student projects. I was so grateful that I found one of those mothers. ![Cream Beige boho Background Instagram Post_20250827_170221_0000.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/manzoriza713/AKDjFPkEVEGENeTsqWcQCBVhY3sQHv4JFvV5AttUQgH3147tEtJhPgDdgEpR6gY.png) Another youngest level nanay, whom I also encountered in the community, was discussing her apo (grandchild). She answered that Apple is not a Bancasan but will be taken to Barangay Tambongon. I came to understand that even in underdeveloped communities like ours, we know all the people and we talk stories by default. This minor experience helped me feel connected not only to fellow students but also to people around me. It is not a project that simply focuses on grades. In my case, it is one of the contemplations on how learning also occurs in society. Babies are an asset and their development is worth seeing, yet, conversely, I was taught how families nurture and raise babies. I observed how much mothers can go out of their way to offer services to students like me since they are aware that we are studying. I am particularly glad this was so. It makes me aware that psychology is not just in books, but real people too. Thankyou hivers, For reading my blog hehehe I hope you enjoy reading and also reblog my blog God bless you hivers.
