Hi, everyone! Well it is Manzoriza once more.I hope your doing well today hehehe . I want to share what happened to me today. It was easy yet crucial and I hope you like listening to that. 😊
This morning we were present in a clean-up drive in Sambag, Bogo City. This was an activity in my school and I was amidst my peers and companions. We came with our cleaning equipments, garbage bags and loads of energy! 😉 We volunteered to gather litter, sweep the streets, and clean the areas.
It was first of all very tiring, at least in the hot sun. When you have people with whom you like, you do not feel you are working. We supported one another, giggled during cleaning and even clicked some photographs. It was nice to do something good to the community and contribute to the clean and improved environment. 🌿💪
Following the clean-up activity, I was invited by my friend Ishbel at Jollibee Bogo to breakfast. I had to eat, as we were starting early and have not eaten yet. I have been hugely hungry. When Ishbel said, Tara, Jollibee ta! I was excited! We ordered what we like the most, mine was a Jolly Hotdog and a Chickenjoy, of course hehhee.
At breakfast we discussed the satisfaction which had been obtained on the previous day in the clean-up drive. As we were eating, we spoke about our experiences, told jokes and enjoyed each other. These direct intercourse, which were accompanied with very real amusement, were peculiarly pleasing.
Thereafter, before leaving we took some photographs. I came back home feeling great and energized although I still had the feeling of fatigue. These thoughts enhanced my faith that a personal demonstration of even the smallest examples of benevolence, to the benefit of the common good or even the personal well-being, can have powerful, long-term effects.
So my day ended as a combination of work, friendship and food. I hope that each resident of the community will do his or her best to continue those characteristics and make the world a little kinder, helpful, and personally meaningful day after day.
