Star Radler is a refreshing drink made with star lager beer and citrus fruits juice. The combination made the beer to bring a perfect blend taste. Flavors It is made up of two different flavors, citrus flavor and red fruits flavor. The one I enjoyed this time is citrus fruit flavor which is a combination of lemon fruit and orange juice flavors. The blend made the beer to be a smooth one in my palate. Moreover, to enjoy the beer, you need to drink it while it is chilled. Variants Star radler comes either in bottle or can. The bottle size is 45cl and that was the one I consumed. But it also have can of 33cl which is smaller in size when compared to the bottle. Ingredients There are 6 main components of this beer and they are thus as follow: Hop Malted barley Sorghum Water Natural flavorings Sucrose The presence of all these ingredients in the beer made it to stand out among its contemporaries 😂😜. Keep on reading, I will tell you why I said so. Nutritional information There are main 3 nutrients in this particular beer and they are: Sugar Energy Carbohydrates The 3 nutrients are of different levels. For example, each 100ml of this drink gives you 9.5g Carbohydrates, 7.5g Sugars and 47 kcal/199 KJ. If am to evaluate the beer, I will say that it shouldn't be taken or consumed by those diabetic in nature. Taste and color For sure, one can continue drinking this beer without placing any limit to its consumption because it has a perfect sweet, crispy and refreshing taste. While drinking, my palate couldn't withstand it's seduction. But myself I did. Despite its sweet refreshing taste, I limited the consumption to only but one bottle and I was well satisfied. The color is smokey. Alc.% and Pairing The alcohol percentage is meager just 2%. It is ideal for those with light brain or those that don't want to consume heavy alcohol content. As light as it is, it rhymes with snacks or light meals. It also have enough foam. Brewer/Manufacturer Star radler is the product of Nigerian breweries PLC which is the most reliable and trusted brewery in Nigeria. Their products are always cool and more preferred by people. How I enjoyed mine With the sole aim of participating in this week #beersaturday, I went to a friend's bar to purchase these particular beer but was fortunate to meet another friend there and she paid for both the drink and a traditional dish I enjoyed it with popularly known as Agidi or Eko and meat pepper-soup.

A brief about Agidi or Eko Agidi which is popularly known as Eko is one of the Nigeria's most popular traditional dish or foods. It has tangy taste with smooth white body. It is extracted from cornstarch. It is enriched with lots of vitamins and minerals with moderate fiber and calories. You can as well enjoy it with any type of soup.
