En medio de la oscuridad brilla la Luz / In the midst of darkness, light shines.

##  Fotografía del autor @marcosmilano71  Fotografía del autor @marcosmilano71 ____       Buenos días; hoy miércoles 6 de agosto, según el Santoral de la Iglesia Católica, se celebra la Fiesta de la Transfiguración de nuestro Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo: camino hacia Dios, verdad suprema y vida eterna.       En el relato bíblico se puede leer que el Maestro de maestros, Jesús de Nazareth, se llevó a tres de sus discípulos, Pedro, Santiago y Juan, al Monte Tabor dónde ellos pudieron ver su Transfiguración que reveló la gloriosa luz de la divinidad de Cristo; además, pudieron escuchar al Díos diciendo: ***«Este es mi Hijo amado, en quien me complazco; escúchenlo».*** > ***Sus vestidos se pusieron resplandecientes y de tal blancura; que no hay batanero sobre esta tierra, capaz de blanquearlos así. Y se les aparecieron Elías y Moisés y conversaban con Jesús.*** (Marcos 9, 2-10) Mucho se ha dicho y escrito sobre la Transfiguración. Algunos han especulado sobre el tema, mientras que otros han escrito tratados doctorales que analizan este maravilloso acontecimiento a la luz de la teología.       Lo cierto es que la Iglesia Católica le otorga a la Transfiguración de Jesús toda la importancia que merece, como lo demuestra el hecho de que esté registrada en tres de los cuatro Evangelios: Mateo 17:1-9, Marcos 9:2-8 y Lucas 9:28-36.       Los cristianos damos por cierto este acontecimiento. Es uno de los dogmas de fe que más respetamos, ya que demuestra la nueva alianza de Dios con la humanidad a través de su amado y único Hijo, Jesucristo.       Hoy, la luz de la Transfiguración sigue brillando en todo el mundo; Pero con tantas distracciones mundanas, muchos no perciben estos destellos. Es hora de que la humanidad vuelva la mirada hacia la luz que nunca se apaga, la luz de la sabiduría, el amor y la paz.       Hoy, los discípulos de Jesús, Pedro, Santiago y Juan, nos invitan a ver la Luz del Maestro y a escuchar la voz de Dios que nos ordena obedecer a su Hijo amado. ____ ###  Photograph by @marcosmilano71  Photograph by @marcosmilano71 Good morning; Today, Wednesday, August 6th, according to the Catholic Church's calendar of saints, we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ: the path to God, the supreme truth, and eternal life.       In the biblical story, we read that the Master of masters, Jesus of Nazareth, took three of his disciples, Peter, James, and John, to Mount Tabor, where they were able to see his Transfiguration, which revealed the glorious light of Christ's divinity. They were also able to hear God saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; listen to him." > His clothes became dazzling and so white that no fuller on earth could whiten them. Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus. (Mark 9:2-10) Much has been said and written about the Transfiguration. Some have speculated on the subject, while others have written doctoral treatises analyzing this marvelous event in the light of theology.       The truth is that the Catholic Church gives the Transfiguration of Jesus all the importance it deserves, and we can see this in the very fact that it is recorded in three of the four Gospels: Matthew 17:1-9, Mark 9:2-8, and Luke 9:28-36.       We Christians take this event as true. It is one of the dogmas of faith that we most respect because it demonstrates God's new covenant with humanity through his beloved and only Son, Jesus Christ.       Today, the light of the Transfiguration continues to shine throughout the world; but with so many worldly distractions, many fail to perceive these flashes. It is time for humanity to turn its eyes to the light that never goes out, the light of wisdom, love, and peace.       Today, Jesus' disciples Peter, James, and John invite us to see the Light of the Master and to listen to the voice of God commanding us to obey his beloved Son. ____ ____ [](https://peakd.com/@marcosmilano71/posts)
