A Heavenly Getaway: Absolutely Worth the Travel Challenge

Good day, lovely Hivers! It's such a fascinating and wonderful feeling to reach a place that I can only admire for now . I had always wondered about the feeling of being in a good and relaxing place like this. So, I was deeply grateful that this little dream came true at a wonderful destination. A place where my family, relatives, and I visited last Sunday to celebrate someone's birthday. However, on our way there , we faced a few struggles on the road.  My aunt informed us that we were going to Medellin to celebrate my cousin's birthday. With great anticipation , my family began searching for suitable outfits for swimming. My parents and aunt also discussed the foods we would bring. When the designated day arrived and all preparations were completed, it was time to start the journey!    We had a multicab vehicle for everyone who joined. The only thing that made it a bit of a struggle was that there wasn't enough space for everyone . We were so cramped and the others were just standing the whole trip. However, it was their decision and they were also enjoying the scenery.  We hadn't even reached the highway when the car suddenly changed direction. It backed up as we were going uphill, which served as a signal that our vehicle was getting heavy with the number of passengers as it rode uphill. So the other boys got out to push it. Luckily, it was fixed right away , and we continued on our journey.   As we reached the highway, my little sister was holding her cap tightly because the wind was so strong and it might blow it away. We tried to convince her to put her hands down because her hands might get tired. At first, she was still holding it , but after a while she removed it. As we continued , another aunt followed us and offered us a watermelon.   About an hour ago, we caught a glimpse of the sea from this spot. We were still on the highway , but I could already smell the salty air. It was incredibly fun!      As we finally reached our destination, the house revealed itself with its expansive grounds. I was absolutely impressed with the place. It felt like living in a peaceful private spot for a day. The whole area was enclosed by a front and back gate, a wall, and a balustrade. The wind whispered through the leaves of a variety of trees , creating a soothing, rustling melody.       At the back, there's a cottage where we left our things. And what impressed me most? It was the ocean! It is so clear in this area. This spot on the balustrade is perfect because we can see the ocean so well from here. In the middle of the balustrade , there's a small gate leading towards the sea. I was really amazed by the place. The atmosphere was truly comforting.   There were a lot of happenings as we reached here. We met new people, bonded with them and had interesting conversations. From the moment we arrived, we were already very impressed with the place. I'll share with you my other observations and different parts of this place in my next blogs. I'll separate it into different sections since I want to share the details based on my observations and experiences at each areas on that day.  That's it for now, dear Hivers!
