Hello, lovely Hivers! We've had this Pomelo tree since 2009. I was just about to turn two years old when my father planted it. Now that we're getting older , we always wait for the fruit to ripen before eating it. We're so excited to eat it because it's so delicious. Its flesh is red , unlike other pomelos, which are white. We always wait for its fruits to ripen so we can pick them as soon as possible. But if a fruit is too far away , we just wait for it to fall or let children who like to climb get it.

I also wanted to climb up to get it, but my nerves got the better of me , and I had a lot on my mind. What if I fall while climbing the tree? That would be a problem. What if the galvanized iron isn't strong enough anymore, and I slip through it? Oh, feeling heavy? Just kidding! But anyway, dear Hivers, let me tell you something about it and see if you believe or have done it already. Let's start!

We're having fun while picking pomelo fruits. My sister went up to the second floor because the fruit was closer there. Luckily, she got one and I told her to drop the picking stick because I wanted to pick one too.

To reach the fruit with the picking stick, I stood on the table , and the stick was just right to reach the fruit. But I was worried that when the fruit fell , it might hit my face as it rolled on the galvanized iron or bounce down towards me. Oh well! I have so many dramas in life 😅. However, self-care is important. But despite thinking that, I still tried to pick it up , but the picking stick was a bit heavy and I couldn't reach the small branch holding the pomelo. The fruit was also heavy , so no matter how many times I hit it with the stick, it still didn't fall.

So, in the end , I just peeled the pomelo that my sister got since we wanted to eat it. Also, did you know that some people believe that rubbing pomelo peel on their hair can make it shiny and fragrant? Well, for me , I think it works because when I rub it into my hair, I love the result. My sister also wanted to try it. How about you? Have you tried it? There's nothing wrong with trying it and seeing the result for yourself.

After peeling it, I split it in half. Here it is, ready to eat! My sister immediately took the other half and gave us the remaining.

I don't know if you've ever tried this one, but we always dip the pomelo flesh in salt. We just find it more delicious and satisfying that way. We only dip it a little bit, but it really adds more flavor. So yummy! These are my sisters, and we're eating together. Sharing a pomelo with them is one of my favorite things. It's a little messy , but it's always filled with laughter and sweet moments. Simple joys like these make life so much sweeter.
