What is truly more frightening? Is it the earthquake, the typhoon, or the new issue about the "Aswang"? The current situation is indeed alarming , leaving us unsure about where our fear should be directed. Nevertheless , there's still one thing we can do, and that is to pray.

Hello Hivers! We are still experiencing non-stop tremors. Although not as frequent as before, we still feel them. Then, there is also news of an approaching typhoon. We haven't even returned home for our safety from the sudden tremors, and now a typhoon is on the way.

Not only that, there is another issue about "Aswang" that people are talking about. We all know that every individual has our own beliefs , and it's up to us whether we believe it or not. And since there is nothing to lose by believing, hearing stories about it leads us to take action immediately. They believe that this bamboo, or what we call "bagakay" is one of our protections against "Aswang".

My eldest sister's boyfriend put it around the tent and even on top of it. Our neighbors also asked for some, so we shared the others, making sure that everyone got some. It wasn't much , but what's important is that they had some, even if just a little.

We still don't even have anything to cover what serves as our door, so my aunt had to make a temporary cover to use when the night comes. If in the past few days we were comfortable without a cover, now we are not, especially since there are many children here and we are almost all women. However, it's a bit better that my sister's boyfriend sleeps here and we have a male cousin. They're the only boys here when our dad and uncle are at work.

My mother, who is also very religious, took out rosaries, prayer books and other things that can be attached outside and inside the tent. Even though the happenings are a bit scary nowadays , faith and hope still prevail.
Despite the challenges we face, we are still thankful and grateful that we are alive and have something to eat every day. It's a reminder that no matter how hard the situation is , God still provides our daily needs. Even though some people still haven't been able to return to their homes, we must be thankful that we are still breathing and still with our loved ones. The only thing we can do now is to have faith , hope, and pray. Let our faith be bigger than our fear. Stay safe everyone , and may God bless us all.
