Simple Treasures, A Heartfelt Appreciation

 Hello, dearest hivers! Good day!  There was a time when I really wanted to take a walk if I needed to go somewhere. The weather was not totally bad , so I enjoyed walking until someone picked me up. Just as I reached the highway, my friend suddenly arrived , and we then picked up our other friend to finally reach our destination. Since we went to the place where there's a fiesta , it was already expected that there would be a lot of people. Niño immediately met us, and took us to the kitchen to eat. While having our meal, he suddenly needed to buy something. We waited for him for a few minutes until he got back, and Mary also needed to leave shortly after.   Before we went back to their house, we first bought slippers for me since he saw some there. At first, I refused because the sandals I was wearing were still okay. But he said it was fine since it was a different color and style. When I saw it, it was so elegant and familiar to me. Many people also wear these kinds of slippers , and they're very comfortable to wear. It's a white color, and its design was so cute and shiny. Also for me, white things are really neat to wear. It seems like an angel that fell from the sky , haha, just kidding! But seriously, I really love it!!!  After we bought the slippers, we went back to their house, and Niño gave me the food that I brought to take home, as his family had suggested. You know guys the food "Lechon"? It's a famous dish that is usually prepared at events like this because we are allowed to eat meat. Then, we explored the area where the little event was being held, and where many people were still gathered.     There were so many vendors lining the streets, selling goods, and offering games. Oh, a shake vendor is waving! That's the best refreshment we usually buy when there are occasions like this. Aside from its sweet taste, it's also cold , which is really refreshing. And then , we went to the spot where we could see many people who stayed there waiting for the celebration to start.  The stage was incredibly stunning, with an attractive design featuring chandeliers , flowers, and other beautiful decorations. It's a little sad that I didn't capture this with better lighting. But seriously, this became more beautiful as the light shone. We didn't get too close because I preferred to stay outside and just capture a few details from a distance. The drummers were also there , getting ready for the upcoming event, which I think was the coronation. It was getting late, and I needed to head home. The night air was chilly , yet I felt profoundly grateful for the recent interactions. I love how the cold air embraces me. I'm very thankful for these moments, after a welcoming and pleasant day. It was like a gentle hug , reminding me of simple joys and meaningful connections. These memories make even a simple night feel special. I went home happily, content, and fulfilled. It was totally worth it!!!
