I thought we were all done in making the cosplay costume. Until my cousin approached me, and asked if I could also help her to create her chosen cosplay costume which is "Hera". I did a little research about her chosen one, including its character and costume. Based on my research , "Hera was an Olympian goddess in the Greek pantheon, known as the queen of the gods. She was the goddess of marriage, family , childbirth, and women. Hera was the wife , and sister, of Zeus, and many of her most famous myths center around her jealous retributions to Zeus's infidelity".

Good day, hivers! Do you have skills and talents in making costumes, or do you know a lot about making designs? If so, it is definitely easy for you to make such things especially if you are passionate about it. To be honest , when we make designs or costumes for a show, I get excited because I want to make things like this. It's just that not every design I think of can actually be done , especially when I find out that it is difficult to do. Maybe you have also experienced this kind of scenario, where your expectations are great but in reality it is difficult to achieve. However , it is also good to be proud of our achievements even if they do not meet our expectations, as long as we did our best. That's what truly matters.

Since it was getting night, and I didn't know if I was able to finish it right away, I immediately started without wasting time. Luckily, her chosen cosplay costume was not hard, and the things that are being used were only seen in the house. I was just confused about where to start, so I first analyzed the steps I would take. First, I cut off the shoulder part to make it sleeveless since that's what my cousin wanted. I didn't have any trouble cutting it because the fabric was soft.

Then, I followed by cutting the side of the blanket for the dress design. I just took a little bit and cut it at each dot I chose so that the blanket still had a design. I also didn't need that much for the design on the dress so I didn't use up all the designs on the blanket.

Then I started placing my cutout on the dress and slowly sewed it. I was careful with my sewing because it could easily go in a different direction. We all know that when we sew , we need to follow a specific direction to ensure a good outcome. It took me a little longer because my sewing involved attaching the design to the back of the dress , where I surrounded the bottom edge with the blanket cutouts I had prepared earlier.

After sewing, I immediately made my cousin a bracelet. I measured her wrist to find the right size. In making the bracelet , I cut a piece of a blanket that exactly fit her wrist. Then I put a button on it so that it would be easy for her to wear. As we tried it again to see if it was working properly , I noticed that the hole I made for the button was a bit big, so I sewed it a little more to make it just right. But you know what's the twist? The button didn't fit in the hole anymore because I over-stitched it , so I adjusted it again. But this time, I changed the placement of the hole so that it would be easier to insert the button, and finally it fit.

I also added a towel that matched the exact color and find a best design in wearing it. Since we didn't have any other cloth that was the same color as the one she chose, we used this. When we found the perfect design for how to wear it, we proceeded to put white shoelaces on her legs to match her dress. Since we didn't have shoes that had this style, we just made a DIY using the shoelace.

Dad also made a DIY weapon. It was made up of cardboard and a styrofoam. Finally, it was all done. We put the costume and the necessary items in a plastic bag, so they would be ready when they go to their school. Things are ready, and since my sister and cousin both have self-confidence, I'm sure they can show off their talents properly. And I would be happy for them.
