Where Hope Takes Root: My Mother's Treatment

Hello, lovely Hivers! I hope everyone is in good health and living a healthy life. Prioritizing our health is very essential , ensuring that we have the energy and liveliness to enjoy every moment and pursue our passions with enthusiasm . In this blog, I'll be sharing our journey with my mother. This isn't about traveling to other places to have fun or having picnics for bonding, but about her medical treatment.  Speaking of which, I want to share a bit about my loving mother. She's always been one of the anchors of our family , tirelessly and selflessly caring for everyone. But the saddest part then is her condition. She wasn't able to sleep at night or even in the afternoon because of how she felt. I don't want to see her like this , sluggish and tired. Until my aunt suggested that we should go to Tabogon for her treatment. So, without any hesitation, we prepared immediately since someone would also take us there.   I remember when one of my siblings was sick or even when I was , she was always by our side to take care of us. So, now, it's our turn to ensure she gets the care and attention she deserves. As we were riding towards Tabogon , I was deeply hoping that my mother's condition would improve soon. We rode a multicab to our destination. By the way, my aunt and her son accompanied us (who is my cousin), along with one of our neighbors who also had a check-up. The road in our area is challenging, as it is not entirely cemented. We also passed through slippery roads, many rocks, and deep soil. Therefore, I had to hold on to my mother because the vehicle was moving so much. When we got to the highway , the road was smoother, and we continued for approximately 20 to 30 minutes until we arrived in Tabogon.   We finally arrived at the location where my mother would receive her treatment. This was where we had our medical check-ups during my Grade 12 immersion requirement. So, I was already familiar with the place, but this time, it wasn't about school requirements or youthful anxieties. This time, it was about my mother's health.     There were only a few people inside , and we were waiting for the doctor to assist us. I felt a mix of emotions at that time. I missed my friends, remembering when we got our medical certificates together here. But there was also sadness since we came here now for a different reason, which was for my mother's treatment. However, it was still for her own good.  This is Dr. Aliño, who gave treatment to my mother. Before he entered his room, he teased my cousin to come inside with him, but my cousin seemed scared and tried to get away from Dr. Aliño. After he got away, we proceeded to the room for the injection. The process was fast since it was just one injection. This was to help my mother feel better, sleep better, and regain her energy.  After we finished, we went home immediately since it was also time for lunch. The vehicle we were riding in was fast so we got home quickly. After lunch, we went to sleep. I was so happy because my mother fell asleep. In the days before , she hadn't been sleeping at all, so I was overjoyed that she was finally able to sleep. Based on my observations , she seems to be doing better now. And that's all that matters to me now.
