_Cuando de festivales y ferias se trata @mavis16 y yo no nos perdemos ninguna, y es que aunque no tengamos tanto tiempo libre debido a nuestro trabajo siempre es bueno salir a distraernos un poco y este tipo de actividades que hacen en la ciudad son sin duda perfectas para ello._
_Como ya les he mencionado aquí en Curitiba estamos en época de invierno y además del frío también ha sido una temporada de ferias y festivales y este mes hemos asistido a 2, una de ellas llamada **"Festival de Invierno"** el cual para este año realizó su edición número 13._
_When it comes to festivals and fairs, @mavis16 and I never miss a single one. Even though we don't have much free time due to our jobs, it's always good to get out and relax, and these types of activities in the city are definitely perfect for that._
_As I've already mentioned, here in Curitiba, it's winter, and besides the cold, it's also been a season of fairs and festivals. This month we attended two, one of them called the **Winter Festival**, which celebrated its 13th edition this year._
_Este festival se realizó el primer fin de semana del mes de agosto, es decir, los días sábado 2 y domingo 3 en la plaza **João Cândido**, ubicada en el **Centro Histórico de Curitiba**._
_This festival took place the first weekend of August, that is, on Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd at **João Cândido Square**, located in the **Historic Center of Curitiba**._
_Eran 2 días de evento pero fuimos solo 1, siendo el sábado en la tarde después del trabajo. Para esta salida nos unimos entre Dani y yo con @mavis16, sus padres y pareja, sumándose también @dojeda con su pareja, así que éramos un grupo un poco más grande de lo normal._
_It was a 2-day event, but there was only one of us, it was Saturday afternoon after work. For this outing, Dani and I joined up with @mavis16, her parents and partner, and @dojeda and her partner also joined us, so we were a slightly larger group than usual._
_Cuando llegamos a la plaza ya había bastante gente, así que empezamos a caminar a ver qué habia. Vimos algunos puestos de comida y bebidas, un lugar para tomarse fotos de recuerdo de este festival y un escenario donde se presentaban algunos grupos musicales._
_When we arrived at the plaza, there were already quite a few people there, so we started walking around to see what was there. We saw some food and drink stalls, a place to take souvenir photos of the festival, and a stage where some musical groups were performing._
_Aprovechando que no había frío en ese momento fuimos por unas bebidas para refrescarnos y disfrutar de la tarde. Caminando vimos que había una estructura muy linda, la cual es el conocido **Palácio Belvedere** que forma parte del patrimonio histórico de Curitiba._
_Taking advantage of the fact that it wasn't cold at the time, we went for some drinks to cool off and enjoy the afternoon. As we walked around, we saw a very beautiful structure, the famous **Belvedere Palace**, part of Curitiba's historical heritage._
_En esa plaza también se encuentran las **Ruinas de São Francisco**, las que también representan parte de la historia y cultura de la ciudad._
_In that square are also the **Ruins of São Francisco**, which also represent part of the city's history and culture._
_Justo en el centro de la plaza habían presentaciones folklóricas, así que nos acercamos a ver y pudimos disfrutar de algunos bailes tradicionales alemanes, presentados por diferentes grupos de danza tanto de adultos como de niños, con trajes típicos y demas, lo que realmente me pareció muy lindo._
_Right in the center of the square there were folklore performances, so we went to see them and were able to enjoy some traditional German dances, presented by different dance groups of both adults and children, with traditional costumes and so on, which I really thought was very nice._
_Solo estuvimos unas 2 o 3 horas en el festival, pero fue el tiempo más que suficiente para dar un paseo y disfrutar del buen ambiente en compañía de algunos amigos y distraer la mente en tan linda actividad._
_We were only at the festival for about two or three hours, but it was more than enough time to take a walk and enjoy the good atmosphere in the company of some friends and distract our minds with such a lovely activity._
