_Despues de ya un año en Brasil hace poco fue que hicimos nuestra primera parrillada y para que esto fuera posible lo primero fue comprar una parrillera y los utensilios adecuados para su uso, teniendo esto ya en manos solo nos quedaba elegir un día e ir de compras al supermercado, siendo este un miércoles en la tarde después del trabajo, aprovechando que al día siguiente estaríamos libres._
_Saliendo del trabajo nos fuimos directo al supermercado **Cóndor** que está cerca de casa e hicimos una buena compra para nuestra primera parrillada, incluyendo en nuestro carrito carne, pollo, cerdo, chorizo, todos los ingredientes para hacer una ensalada y una guasacaca, yuca para acompañar la comida, refrescos y por supuesto el carbón._
_After a year in Brazil, we recently had our first barbecue, and to make this possible, the first thing we needed to do was buy a grill and the proper utensils. With this in hand, all that was left was to choose a day and go grocery shopping. This happened on a Wednesday afternoon after work, taking advantage of the fact that we would be free the next day._
_After work, we went straight to the Cóndor supermarket near our house and did a good amount of shopping for our first barbecue, including meat, chicken, pork, chorizo, all the ingredients for a salad and guacamole, yuca to go with the meal, soft drinks, and of course, charcoal._
_Llegando a casa Daniel se encargó de sazonar toda la carne y demás, para luego dedicarse a encender el carbón, mientras que yo me encargué de hacer la guasacaca, la ensalada y sancochar la yuca._
_When we got home, Daniel took charge of seasoning all the meat and everything else, and then he started lighting the charcoal, while I took charge of making the guasacaca, the salad, and boiling the yuca._
_Debo decir que para poder asar todo lo que compramos tardamos unas 3 horas aproximadamente, y es que con el tamaño de la parrillera no se podían asar muchas cosas a la vez sino de a poco, lo que nos hizo tardar más de lo que esperábamos, aún así logramos asar todo y hacer nuestra primera parrillada._
_I must say that it took us about 3 hours to grill everything we bought, and with the size of the grill we couldn't grill many things at once but rather little by little, which made it take longer than we expected, even so we managed to grill everything and make our first barbecue._
_Teniendo ya todo listo fue cuestión de cortar toda la carne y servirnos lo que íbamos a comer en ese momento. Para ser nuestra primera parrillada estuvo muy buena y deliciosa, era algo que queríamos hacer desde hace mucho tiempo y finalmente lo pudimos cumplir totalmente a nuestro gusto._
_Once everything was ready, it was a matter of cutting all the meat and serving ourselves what we were going to eat at that moment. For our first barbecue, it was very good and delicious. It was something we'd wanted to do for a long time, and we finally got it done exactly to our liking._
