Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un pedacito muy especial de mi día, ya que se celebró el día de la Virgen del Valle, una fecha muy importante para todos los que vivimos aquí, donde la devoción y el cariño hacia nuestra Virgencita se sienten en cada rincón.
En el lugar donde vivo, cada bloque cuenta con su propia Virgen del Valle y lo bonito es que, año tras año, la visten de manera diferente, con mucho amor y dedicación. Aprovechando que tuve el día libre, salí con mi novio y mi suegra a recorrer varios bloques para apreciar y tomar fotografías de cada una de las imágenes. Fue una experiencia muy linda, llena de fe y tradición. Entre las fotos que pude capturar, están la Virgen de la casa de mi suegra, la de la casa de la tía de mi suegra y otras que visitamos en el recorrido. Cada una tenía detalles únicos que reflejaban el cariño de las familias y de la comunidad entera.
Después de caminar y disfrutar del recorrido, el hambre se hizo sentir, y al llegar a casa mi novio me sorprendió con una deliciosa tortilla que me supo a gloria, porque no hay nada como comer algo preparado con cariño después de un día especial.
Aunque esta vez no pudimos ir al Valle para celebrar en persona, sentimos la conexión y la fe al ver las misas transmitidas en vivo por televisión y al compartir este pequeño recorrido lleno de tradición y unión familiar. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo de estas imágenes y de esta experiencia que les comparto con mucho cariño.

Where I live, each block has its own Virgin of the Valley, and the beautiful thing is that, year after year, they dress her differently, with much love and dedication. Taking advantage of the day off, my boyfriend and mother-in-law and I went out to walk around several blocks to appreciate and take photographs of each of the images. It was a very beautiful experience, full of faith and tradition. Among the photos I was able to capture were the Virgin at my mother-in-law's house, the Virgin at my mother-in-law's aunt's house, and others we visited along the way. Each one had unique details that reflected the love of the families and the entire community.
After walking and enjoying the tour, hunger set in, and when I got home my boyfriend surprised me with a delicious tortilla that tasted heavenly, because there's nothing like eating something lovingly prepared after a special day.
Although we couldn't go to the Valley this time to celebrate in person, we felt the connection and faith watching the masses broadcast live on television and sharing this short tour full of tradition and family unity.
