Greetings everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I want to tell you that a Sunday outing to Peribeca with the family is always a special experience, and this time, we decided to invite my dear uncle Gustavo to join us on the adventure. From early in the morning, the sun was shining in the sky, and excitement was in the air.
We set off as a family with my brother Martin, who came to visit us from Caracas, laughing and sharing stories along the way. Upon arriving in the village, we were greeted by the picturesque atmosphere of this tourist town of Peribeca, with its cobblestone streets and colorful houses that seemed to tell stories of the past. The cool breeze and the scent of the countryside enveloped us, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable day.
After exploring a bit and enjoying the warmth of the place, we decided to make a mandatory stop at Granitos Pop, which is owned by my son's girlfriend. There, we enjoyed some churros freshly made by my son, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the best was yet to come: we dipped them in melted chocolate, caramel, and peanuts, creating a combination of flavors that made us all smile. Each bite was an explosion of sweetness that made us feel like children again.
My uncle Gustavo, always in good spirits, kept telling stories while enjoying the churros. We laughed together, reminiscing about the past and creating new memories. The joy of the moment was contagious, and seeing the family gathered around those delicious desserts made it all worthwhile.
As evening fell, we decided to take a walk through the central park, and my daughter Kerit bought some beautiful bracelets made of stones. With the sky painted in shades of orange and purple, and a mountain climate, we ended the day with a feeling of gratitude for those shared moments.
That was our Sunday in Peribeca, a day filled with laughter, good food, and the warmth of family. There is nothing better than sharing special moments with loved ones.

Saludos a todos, espero que la estén pasando muy bien. Les cuento que un domingo de paseo a Peribeca con la familia siempre es una experiencia especial, y esta vez, decidimos invitar a mi querido tío Gustavo para que se uniera a la aventura. Desde temprano, el sol brillaba en el cielo, y la emoción se sentía en el aire.
Partimos en familia con mi hermano Martin que vino a visitarnos desde Caracas, riendo y compartiendo anécdotas durante el camino. Al llegar al pueblo, nos recibió el ambiente pintoresco de este pueblito turístico de Peribeca, con sus calles empedradas y casas coloridas que parecían contarnos historias del pasado. La brisa fresca y el aroma a campo nos envolvieron, creando el escenario perfecto para un día inolvidable.
Después de explorar un poco y disfrutar de la calidez del lugar, decidimos hacer una parada obligatoria en el negocio Granitos Pop, que es de la novia de mi hijo. Allí, nos deleitamos con unos churros recién hechos por mi hijo, crujientes por fuera y suaves por dentro. Pero lo mejor estaba por venir: los bañamos en chocolate derretido, arequipe y maní, creando una combinación de sabores que nos hizo sonreír a todos. Cada bocado era una explosión de dulzura que nos hacía sentir como niños nuevamente.
Mi tío Gustavo, siempre con su buen humor, no paraba de contar historias mientras disfrutaba de los churros. Nos reímos juntos, recordando momentos pasados y creando nuevos recuerdos. La alegría del momento era contagiosa, y ver a la familia unida en torno a esos deliciosos postres hizo que todo valiera la pena.
Al caer la tarde, decidimos dar un paseo por el parque central y mi hija Kerit compro unas pulseras muy hermosas hechas de piedras. Con el cielo pintado de tonos anaranjados y morados, y un clima de montaña, cerramos el día con una sensación de gratitud por esos momentos compartidos.
Así fue nuestro domingo en Peribeca, un día lleno de risas, buenos sabores y la calidez de la familia. No hay nada mejor que compartir momentos especiales con los seres queridos.
