Art Therapy: Pastel Colors and Simple Drawings
I really like coloring. You may have seen me share some of my drawings here. I feel that, little by little, I have learned what I like and don't like. For example, I tend to get bored by very big drawings or ones with too many details. Maybe it's because we're used to fast-paced content, and spending many days on a single page doesn't interest me. So, I chose this simple drawing. I painted it in just 15 minutes with pastel-toned markers.
I think these tones convey calmness and relaxation. It made me think: When was the last time I wrote a letter or message by hand? In this digital era, doing things by hand has been lost. So, once in a while, you should sit down and write, draw, or paint. They say doing manual tasks helps cognitive function. I don't know if that's entirely true, but I get a lot of pleasure from coloring.

Me gusta mucho colorear. Puede que me hayas visto compartir algunos de mis dibujos aquí. Siento que, poco a poco, he aprendido lo que me gusta y lo que no. Creo que estos tonos transmiten calma y relajación. Me hizo pensar: ¿cuándo fue la última vez que escribí una carta o un mensaje a mano? En esta era digital, hacer las cosas a mano se ha perdido. Así que, de vez en cuando, hay que sentarse a escribir, dibujar o pintar. Dicen que hacer tareas manuales ayuda a la función cognitiva. No sé si es del todo cierto, pero a mí me da mucho placer colorear.
