Hoy quiero compartirles mi mas reciente creación una hermoso retrato de Teffiti el cual decidí hacer ayer cuando me hallaba con mi sobrina viendo películas y quiso ver precisamente Moana pues nunca la había visto y luego de mirarla quedó prendada de la diosa y uno de los personajes principales de la película más que de la misma protagonista. Debido a que le resultó muy colorida y etérea me pidió que le hiciera un retrato para poder colgarlo en su cuarto.
Today I want to share my latest creation, a beautiful portrait of Teffiti. I decided to do it yesterday when I was watching movies with my niece. She wanted to see Moana because she'd never seen it before. After watching it, she fell in love with the goddess and one of the main characters in the film more than with the protagonist herself. Because she found it so colorful and ethereal, she asked me to do a portrait to hang in her room.
Por lo que decidí elaborarlo sobre cartón dado a que no tenía conmigo un lienzo y pensé que hacerlo en papel sería simple por lo que elegí usar el cartón de lienzo y en vez de colores usar pintura al frío y una esponja pues había visto un par de tutoriales en Youtube de como está podría crear un efecto difuminado que me parecía quedaría bien como el personaje que quería plasmar me costó mucho a decir verdad que se pareciera a la original y aunque si bien no es idéntica mi sobrina quedó encantada con el resultado y al final eso es lo que importa.
So I decided to make it on cardboard since I didn't have a canvas with me and I thought that doing it on paper would be simple, so I chose to use the canvas cardboard and instead of colors use cold paint and a sponge because I had seen a couple of tutorials on YouTube on how to create a blurred effect that seemed to me would look good like the character I wanted to capture, it was very difficult for me to tell the truth to make it look like the original and although it is not identical my niece was delighted with the result and in the end that is what matters.
A continuación les mostraré los pasos a seguir y los materiales que emplee para su elaboración.

- Un trozo grande de cartón.
- Una regla
- Un lápiz
- Pinturas al frío
- Silicona
- Un pincel de brocha fina
- Un trozo de esponja
- Tijeras.

- Paso 1
En el cartón con ayuda de la regla y lápiz medi y trace un cuadro indicando así el tamaño del que sería mi retrato .
On the cardboard, using a ruler and pencil, I measured and drew a box indicating the size of what my portrait would be.
Después procedí a pintar a lápiz la imagen de Teffiti para después con ayuda de la esponja colocar lo que seria la pintura base en tono verde navidad por toda la Silueta dejando por fuera su rostro.
Then I proceeded to paint the image of Teffiti in pencil and then, with the help of the sponge, I placed what would be the base paint in Christmas green all over the Silhouette, leaving her face out.
- Paso 2
Luego aplique otra capa de un tono más oscuro y encima uno más claro creando un efecto difuminado como ayuda de la esponja dando suaves toquecitos.
Then apply another layer of a darker shade and a lighter one on top, creating a blurred effect with the help of the sponge by gently tapping.
Después me concentré en hacer su rostro, primero pintar sus ojos, cejas , nariz y luego sus labios.
Then I focused on making her face, first painting her eyes, eyebrows, nose and then her lips.
- Paso 3
Y hecho esto me dispuse a hacer la diadema que estaba compuesta básicamente por flores las cuales dibuje con la pintura usando el mismo efecto difuminado con la esponja aplicando diferentes colores.
And once that was done, I set out to make the headband, which was basically made up of flowers that I drew with paint, using the same blurred effect with the sponge, applying different colors.
Luego procedí a remarcar el contorno de su cuello y rostro con un tono más oscuro y lo difumina de la siguiente manera.
Then I proceeded to highlight the contour of her neck and face with a darker shade and blend it as follows.
- Paso 4
Después procedí a dibujar en tonos celeste y blanco lo que seria el cielo a su alrededor y su cabello compuesto básicamente de raíces de árboles .
Then I proceeded to draw in shades of light blue and white what would be the sky around her and her hair composed basically of tree roots.
Para finalmente hacer unas mariposas pequeñas dibujando y cortando un trozo de cartulina para después pegarla al cuadro y darle los toques finales de la siguiente manera.
Finally, make some small butterflies by drawing and cutting a piece of cardboard, then glue it to the frame and add the finishing touches as follows.
Y LISTOO!! Tenemos un hermoso cuadro de Teffiti perfecto para colgar en la pared del cuarto de los peques o colocarlos en su escritorio o mesa de noche que si bien no quedo perfectos a mi me encantó el resultado final y espero les haya gustado tanto a como a mi está simple pero bonito retrato sin más que agregar me despido.
AND READY!! We have a beautiful painting by Teffiti perfect to hang on the wall of the little ones' room or place on their desk or nightstand. Although it wasn't perfect, I loved the final result and I hope you liked it as much as I did. This simple but beautiful portrait, without further ado, I'll say goodbye.
