A hot and muggy Saturday, but the first tit appeared
After many days of bird drought, a single tit finally showed up for feeding today. Apparently, it's a new, young generation, as it's very skittish. Nevertheless, it helped itself to a nut and quickly disappeared into the thicket of thorny roses.
Po wielu dniach ptasiej posuchy, wreszcie dzisiaj pojawiła się na karmienie sikorka, sztuk jeden. Najwyraźniej to nowe, młode pokolenie, bo jest bardzo płochliwa. Niemniej poczęstowała się orzeszkiem i szybko zniknęła w gęstwinie kolczastych róż.
A walk through the forest's nooks and crannies, free from other hikers, yielded many mushroom finds. Among them, I found edible rabbit boletes, which are also new to me in this park forest.
Spacer po leśnych zakamarkach wolnych od innych spacerowiczów poskutkował wieloma znaleziskami grzybowymi. Między innymi znalazłem jadalne podgrzybki zajączki, które również są dla mnie nowością w tym parkowym lesie.

But edible mushrooms in the park are a good sign, as it signals that the forest is healthy and it is no longer just an ordinary piece of park greenery.
Ale grzyby jadalne w parku to dobry znak, sygnalizuje bowiem, iż las jest zdrowy, i nie jest to już zwykły parkowy kawałek zieleni.
And in the evening, as always happens in warm or even hot weather, we meet on a bench by the local pond and chat over pillows - about everything and nothing.
A wieczorem, jak to ma zawsze miejsce w ciepłą, bądź nawet upalną aurę spotkanie na ławce nad lokalnym stawem i pogaduchy do poduchy - czyli o wszystkim i o niczym.
