A very hot Thursday, an escape to the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland
Today, we strolled around the Planetarium and along the paths there. Due to the temperature, there weren't many people enjoying sunbathing, or even shade. However, we could clearly hear the shouts and screams coming from the "Fala" swimming area.
Dzisiaj spacery wokół Planetarium i tamtejszymi ścieżkami. Ze względu na temperaturę powietrza, nie było zbyt wielu amatorów spacerów w słońcu, a nawet w cieniu. Słuchać natomiast było wyraźnie okrzyki i wrzaski dobiegające z kąpieliska "Fala".
It must be admitted that the weather is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The only question is whether the heated water in the pools, which is 28 degrees Celsius, will provide relief and refreshment. I doubt it, so showers will remain indispensable.
Trzeba przyznać, że pogoda na kąpiele słoneczne i wodne jest wymarzona, pytanie tylko, czy podgrzewana woda w basenach która ma plus 28 stopni celsjusza da ulgę i ochłodę. Śmiem w to wątpić, więc pozostaną niezastąpione prysznice.
The birds were mediocre today. One sparrow, one tit, and a shrieking young magpie. But that's good, and we can see some progress.
Ptaszki dzisiaj dopisały miernie. Jeden wróbelek, jedna sikorka, i wrzeszcząca młoda sroka. Ale dobre i to, widać jakiś progres.
Although I spent most of the day in the park today, late in the afternoon I packed up my car and headed for the Jura Mountains. It's become a tradition that whenever we have a moment of free time, we escape from the housing estate into the forest.
Choć większość dnia spędziłem dzisiaj w parku, to późnym popołudniem spakowałem się do samochodu i wyjechałem na Jurę. To już jest tradycja, że jak tylko mamy chwile wolnego ewakuujemy się z blokowiska do lasu.
