Sunday will be just as warm, but it won't last much longer
Surprising weather arrived at the end of September. Today, it's almost 30 degrees Celsius in the shade. This is convenient for us, as we have a 10-month-old granddaughter to look after, so she can play outside.
Zaskakująca aura zawitała na koniec września. Dzisiaj prawie plus 30 stopni w cieniu. Nam to na rękę, bo mamy pod opieka 10-cio miesięczną wnuczkę, wiec spokojnie może bawić się przed domem.
Today I suffered a minor injury. A piece of a sharp stick got stuck in my foot. It punctured my flip-flops and left a small but painful wound. I hope there will be no complications and I can start walking tomorrow.
Dzisiaj doznałem małej kontuzji, a mianowicie wbił mi się kawałek ostrego patyka do stopy. Przebił klapki i zrobił niewielką ale bolesną ranę. Mam nadzieje, że nie będzie żadnych powikłań i już jutro zacznę spacery.
Lack of sleep is an additional complication. Our granddaughter is driving us crazy. She fell asleep at 3 a.m. and woke up at 6:30 a.m., so we're lacking sleep and it doesn't look like we'll be catching up anytime soon.
Dodatkowym utrudnieniem jest brak snu. Wnuczka daje nam popalić. Zasnęła o 3 rano a wstała o 6-30, więc mamy braki i nie zanosi się na szybkie ich odrobienie.
There's very little water in the surrounding reservoirs. I've never seen such a drought here. But there are still some mushrooms growing.
Bardzo małe ilości wody w okolicznych zbiornikach. Nie widziałem tutaj jeszcze takiej suszy. Ale mimo wszystko rosną jakieś grzybki.
