La mazorca o jojoto es uno de los frutos que más me gusta cuando está en temporada y ahorita que me encuentro por Caripe de vacaciones estamos en tiempo de cosecha, es ideal para tortas que aún no la he probado, cachapas que son divinas y los populares bollitos de maíz dulce que me encantan y por primera vez los he preparado. De pequeña veía a mi abuela prepararlos, era todo un proceso, utilizaban la máquina de moler lo que requiere más esfuerzo, yo en cambio use la licuadora y ahora les muestro como los hice.
Happy day, friends of @foodiesbeehive. Corn on the cob is one of my favorite fruits when it's in season, and right now I'm on vacation in Caripe, which is harvest time. It's ideal for cakes, which I haven't tried yet, cachapas, which are divine, and the popular sweet corn muffins that I love and have made for the first time. When I was little, I used to watch my grandmother make them. It was quite a process, using a grinding machine, which requires more effort. I, on the other hand, used a blender, and now I'll show you how I made them.

- 1 Docena de Mazorcas.
- Media taza de leche líquida.
- Media cucharadita de Sal.
- 1 Cucharada de Azúcar.
- 1 dozen corn cobs.
- Half a cup of milk.
- Half a teaspoon of salt.
- 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Remove the husks from the corn cobs and, once peeled, use a knife to remove the kernels.---






Place the corn in a blender and add the milk, sugar, and salt. Blend until thick.---






Take the largest leaves that you removed from the cobs and form a cup shape. Add the mixture inside with a spoon and use another cob leaf to repeat the cup shape in reverse. Tie it so that the mixture doesn't spill out. You can tie them with string or rubber bands. I didn't have any, so as a good seamstress, I cut some strips of fabric and tied them with those, ha ha ha.---

Bring to a boil in hot water and cook for about 45 minutes.---








We take them out, let them rest for a few minutes, and remove the wrapping to enjoy these delicious sweet rolls with a touch of butter. You can add cheese and it will be an excellent, nutritious, and very delicious dinner or breakfast.---



We all loved this recipe, I highly recommend it, and it's very easy to make. We all pitched in: my husband husked and shelled the corn, my kids sorted the leaves, and I took care of mixing and assembling the ingredients. It was a real team effort.
