Feliz día amigos creativos de @needleworkmonday, espero se encuentren bien. Existen prendas que nos encantan como nos queda y le tenemos un gusto particular, razón por la cual la usamos con frecuencia, pero llega un momento que por motivos de tiempo o de dinero tenemos un evento y no pudimos comprar o mandar a hacer una prenda para la ocasión y volvemos a pensar en esa que nos encanta y nos ponemos creativos y decidimos adaptarle un detalle o una transformación y para sorpresa nos queda muy bien. Esto le pasó a una gran amiga que me pidió que a su blusa blanca preferida le colocara una cinta de detalle para cambiarla un poco. Ahora les muestro el resultado.
Happy day, creative friends at @needleworkmonday. I hope you are all well. There are some garments that we love because they fit us so well and we have a particular fondness for them, which is why we wear them often. But there comes a time when, due to time or money constraints, we have an event and we couldn't buy or have a garment made for the occasion. So we think back to that garment we love and get creative, deciding to adapt a detail or transform it, and to our surprise, it fits us perfectly. This happened to a good friend of mine who asked me to add a ribbon detail to her favorite white blouse to change it up a bit. Now I'll show you the result.
La blusa como les dije es blanca y mi amiga tenía una cinta negra que me pidió usara para decorarla. Comencé por el cuello donde corte un trozo de la cinta luego de medir la cantidad que necesitaría y fui colocando haciendo una primera costura por una de las orillas y luego una segunda costura.
The blouse, as I said, is white, and my friend had a black ribbon that she asked me to use to decorate it. I started at the collar, where I cut a piece of ribbon after measuring how much I would need, and I sewed it on, first along one edge and then along the other.
Luego me fui a las mangas y en el puño como tiene un lazo le coloqué la cinta en todo el centro de esta pieza, de igual manera hice la costura primero por un extremo y luego por el otro a todo lo largo.

Y de esta manera le damos otra vista a la blusa para seguir usándola ahora con otra presentación jajaja.
And this way we give the blouse another look so we can continue wearing it now with a different style, haha.
I also really like the idea because if the garments are still in good condition, it's a different kind of recycling, since we're not creating something completely new, but rather adding details to what we already have to make a difference.
