Feliz lunes de agujas amigos de @needleworkmonday. Me encuentro de vacaciones y no estoy cociendo mucho, pero siempre hay alguna prenda que hacer para algún conocido o familiar que requiera de una en específico y no cuesta nada si es sencilla como esta franela blanca en tela Atlética que hice para el esposo de mi cuñada. Esta tela es muy usada para hacer prendas deportivas, además que tiene un costo muy asequible y si le damos un buen acabado a la costura las prendas lucen muy lindas además de que duran mucho los colores en ella.

I am on vacation and not doing much sewing, but there is always some garment to make for someone known or a family member that requires a specific one, and it's not a big deal if it is simple like this white flannel in Athletic fabric that I made for my sister-in-law's husband. This fabric is very commonly used to make sports clothing, plus it is very affordable and if we give the sewing a good finish, the garments look very nice and the colors last a long time on it.

The cut pieces are the common ones for a flannel: a back piece, a front piece, and a pair of sleeves.---
They gave me a pattern piece to recreate which has a piece on the shoulder approximately 5 cm high, from the neck to the armhole. So the first thing was to sew this piece on the shoulders and then I sewed the back piece to the front piece at the shoulders.---
Then I sewed the sleeves to either side of the garment to then sew the sides and make the hem.---

El cuello en este caso no era liso como normalmente lo tienen las franelas sino que llevó dos piezas una pequeña pieza en la parte delantera del cuello y luego otra por todo el restante del cuello, lo que hizo un estilo diferente de cuello pero muy bonito.

Así terminé esta franela de caballero en color blanco con detalle en cuello y hombro que la hacen muy llamativo.
