Como ya les he comentado me encanta hacerle ropa a mi hija es mi modelo favorita todo le gusta y lo usa como si una gran costurera se lo hubiese hecho. En esta ocasión le realicé un conjunto de chaqueta y short para usarlo en navidad, la tela la había comprado hace meses y les compartiré según lo trabajé, primero fue el short ya que el estilo de la chaqueta no estaba bien decidido aún.

As I have already told you I love to make clothes for my daughter, she is my favorite model, she likes everything and she wears it as if a great seamstress had made it for her. This time I made her a set of jacket and shorts to wear for Christmas, I had bought the fabric months ago and I will share with you how I worked it, first was the shorts since the style of the jacket was not well decided yet.

--- --- A ella le encantan los shores así que no lucho contra la corriente y me dispuse a coser. Luego de cortar, comencé uniendo el tiro delantero para unir el frente y luego el tiro trasero para unir la parte trasera.

--- --- Como a ella no le gustan los bolsillos en los pantalones este no los lleva, así que pasé a coser por los costados y en la entrepierna.

--- --- Para luego hacer el ruedo y coser la pretina o cintura que en este caso como la tela es sumamente elástica no hizo falta colocar elástico por dentro sino que es de la misma tela.

Then I made the hem and sewed the waistband. In this case, as the fabric is very elastic, I didn't need to put elastic inside the waistband, it's made of the same fabric.

--- --- Es un short muy sencillo pero gracias al tipo de tela el color y la textura ha quedado muy lindo y puede ser utilizado con otras prendas según sea la ocasión.
