Feliz y bendecido lunes amigos artesanos de @needleworkmonday. Crear nuestros propias manualidades nos permite recortar gastos y además les damos ese toque personal que en ninguna tienda vamos a encontrar además de que nos relaja porque estamos dedicadas a lo que nos gusta. El mes mi sobrina al final de su embarazo me trae unos recortes de tela para que le hiciera unos cojines pequeños que sirvieran de adorno en la cuna para la llegada de su bebe y crear cosas para los niños y niñas me encanta así que me puse manos a la obra. Era solo crear la forma del cojín ya que ella le quería colocar el relleno y otros detalles.

Creating our own crafts allows us to cut costs and give them that personal touch that we won't find in any store, not to mention that it relaxes us because we are doing what we love. At the end of her pregnancy, my niece brought me some fabric scraps to make small cushions to decorate the crib for the arrival of her baby. I love creating things for children, so I got to work. It was just a matter of creating the shape of the cushion, as she wanted to add the filling and other details herself.

No quería un simple cojín cuadrado o redondo, ya que hay muchos diseños lindos que se pueden usar hoy en día, así que me fui por el espacio y decidí hacerlos tipo luna, nube y estrella por lo que primeramente en papel hice los moldes en función de los pocos retazos que me trajo mi sobrina.

I didn't want a simple square or round cushion, as there are so many cute designs available nowadays, so I went for space and decided to make them in the shape of the moon, clouds, and stars. First, I made the patterns on paper based on the few scraps my niece brought me.

Luego con un lápiz los marque en la tela por el revés y de cada pieza corté dos.

Then, I traced them onto the fabric with a pencil and cut out two pieces from each pattern.

Con costura recta fui cociendo por todo el marcado, dejando un espacio de unos 4 cm para poder voltearlos al derecho. Antes de voltearlos hice unos cortes donde había esquinas de costura para que al voltear no quedara prensado. Al igual que cortes en las áreas que eran circulares.

I sewed around the entire outline with a straight stitch, leaving a space of about 4 cm so I could turn them right side out. Before turning them, I made some cuts where there were sewn corners so that they wouldn't be pressed when turned. I also made cuts in the circular areas.

Como me sobró un poco de tela también le hice un cojín tipo el que usan para cuello para las personas cuando viajan, este lo puede usar para cuando el bebe este descansando ya que quedaría acunado.

As I had some fabric left over, I also made a pillow like the ones people use for their necks when traveling. This can be used when the baby is resting, as it will cradle them.

Así sin mucha tela y poco tiempo creamos unos lindos cojines decorativos para cunas de bebé, hecho en casa con mucho amor para un hermoso pequeñito.

So, without much fabric and in a short amount of time, we created some cute decorative pillows for baby cribs, made at home with lots of love for a beautiful little one.
