Feliz día y feliz lunes de agujas para todos los amigos creativos de @needleworkmonday. Aunque estos días no he querido tomar muchos trabajos de costura los que he tomado me han hecho sentarme por varias horas para analizar como los puedo llevar a feliz termino. Mi compañera de trabajo Naive necesitaba un conjunto para asistir a la graduación de su hija mayor en la universidad, Ella escogió un lindo diseño de pantalón y blusa y aunque el pantalón era un palazo algo muy sencillo la blusa si tenía su complicación.
La tela es rígida un lino suave en tono mostaza claro muy bonito. Así que tanto la blusa como el pantalón llevan cierre o cremallera para poder colocarlo fácilmente, Hoy les contaré como hice el pantalón ya que hablar de ambas prendas me haría un post muy largo.

Although I haven't wanted to take on many sewing projects lately, the ones I have taken on have kept me sitting for hours analyzing how I can bring them to a successful conclusion. My coworker Naive needed an outfit to attend her eldest daughter's college graduation. She chose a cute design for pants and a blouse, and although the pants were very simple, the blouse was more complicated.
The fabric is stiff, a very nice soft linen in a light mustard tone. So, both the blouse and the pants have a zipper closure to make them easy to put on. Today, I'll tell you how I made the pants, since talking about both garments would make for a very long post.
Para el pantalón corté dos piezas una delantera y una trasera, a la parte trasera le agregué unos cm de tela en la parte del tiro trasero para montar el cierre y que no se viera el mismo. ya había cortado la blusa que tiene mucho detalle y entonces cuando voy a cortar los bolsillos la tela no me daba así que tuve que buscar un recorte de tela blanca para empatar internamente el largo de los bolsillos, no representaba problema porque esa parte no se ve, es una pieza interna. Entonces pase a armar los bolsillos y colocarlos a cada lado de las piezas delanteras y en la parte de la cintura le coloqué una pieza doble que hará la pretina del mismo.
For the pants, I cut two pieces, one front and one back. I added a few centimeters of fabric to the back to attach the zipper so that it wouldn't show. Then I assembled the pockets and placed them on each side of the front pieces, and at the waist I placed a double piece that will form the waistband.

Terminando así una primera pieza del conjunto para mi amiga y compañera de trabajo, me gustó mucho porque la tela es muy fresca y liviana ideal para el diseño que caracterizan a los palazos.

Aunque la tela tiene sus buenas características debo decir que se arruga muy rápido condición que con una buena planchada se resuelve pero son más las bondades y esto la hace una buena opción a escoger. El cierre utilizado fue el cierre invisible que son muy buenos para este tipo de diseños. Espero les haya gustado este tutorial que nos permite crear este tipo de pantalones que están muy a la moda actualmente y que son muy lindos.
