Feliz día amigos artesanos de @needleworkmonday, espero hayan pasado un excelente fin de semana. El post de hoy ha sido mi ayuda para tener claro como realizar el vestido que usará mi querida sobrina mayor en su acto de grado como Técnico superior Universitario. Cuando me mostró el vestido que quería me quedé en shock porque lo vi muy complicado y decidí hacerle en miniatura para tener claro como cortar la tela y como será el armado y no dañar los materiales o peor tener que decir que no le podría confeccionar su traje y sé que esto le rompería el corazón ya que le he realizado cada traje que ha usado en sus exposiciones de proyecto en sus estudios de la carrera. Les muestro como fue este proyecto en miniatura.

Today's post has been my help to have clear how to make the dress that my dear niece will wear in her graduation ceremony as a university technician. When she showed me the dress she wanted I was in shock because I saw it very complicated and I decided to make it in miniature to have clear how to cut the fabric and how it will be assembled and not to damage the materials or worse have to say that I could not make her dress and I know that this would break her heart because I have made every dress she has worn in her project exhibitions in her career studies. I show you how this miniature project went.
Me fui a mis retazos y ubiqué una tela stres pero además llamativa para ver el resultado en todo su esplendor. También hice un patrón ya que al igual que con mi sobrina no tengo prenda de medida (ella vive en Puerto La Cruz y yo en Cumaná). Con el patrón corté la pieza delantera que es una sola, la pieza trasera y en principio una pieza para forrar la parte de la cadera en la pieza trasera. Según yo solo necesitaba estas jajaja.
I went to my scraps and located a stressful but also eye-catching fabric to see the result in all its glory. I also made a pattern since, as with my niece, I don't have a garment to measure (she lives in Puerto La Cruz and I live in Cumaná). With the pattern I cut the front piece which is only one, the back piece and in principle a piece to line the hip part of the back piece. According to me I only needed these hahaha.
Pasé entonces a trabajar la pieza trasera que es solo de la cintura hacia abajo, la espalda va descubierta. Le coloqué la pieza de forro. Luego le hice un ruche en la parte del pompi en este caso lo hice con costura recta y luego halé, en el original va con un elástico.
I then worked on the back piece, which is only from the waist down, the back is uncovered. I placed the lining piece. Then I made a ruche in the part of the pompom, in this case I did it with a straight seam and then I pulled, in the original it goes with an elastic.
Pasé entonces a trabajar la pieza delantera y me doy cuenta que debe ir forrada así que le coloqué un forro y además como la espalda va descubierta decidí colocarle una tira delgada de axila a axila que quedará por la espalda. Aquí me di cuenta que la tela que escogí no es tan elástica así que para el vestido de mi sobrina debo escoger una tela super elástica.
Then I went to work on the front piece and I realized that it should be lined so I put a lining and also as the back is uncovered I decided to place a thin strip from armpit to armpit that will be on the back. Here I realized that the fabric I chose is not so elastic so for my niece's dress I have to choose a super elastic fabric.
Ya con la parte delantera y la trasera armadas pasé a coser por los costados y armar el traje. y por último el vestido lleva una pieza que cubre hombros, senos y parte alta de la espalda, esta va fijada solo en la parte delantera, no tiene espalda donde fijarla.
Now with the front and back assembled I sewed the sides and put the dress together. And finally the dress has a piece that covers the shoulders, breasts and upper back, this is fixed only in the front, it has no back to fix it.
Con esto les muestro como quedó, le tuve que hacer costuras una vez colocado a la Barbie ya que hubieron detalles que no quedaron bien pero que me mostraron como resolverlos para el de mi sobrina.
