Feliz día amigos amantes de las agujas en @needleworkmonday. Hoy como de costumbre comparto con ustedes un lindo proyecto que en esta como en muchas ocasiones está creado para mi hija que como es costumbre tenía una fiesta y no tiene que ponerse según ella jajaja, yo feliz de hacerle sus caprichos. Este era un día muy especial porque una de sus mejores amigas se graduó un motivo que me llenó mucho de alegría al ver a un joven alcanzar sus metas profesionales.
En esta ocasión el diseño es un vestido manga larga, cuello recto y mini falda con abertura en una pierna. Usé tela seul ya que es super stresh lo cual requería el diseño, no transparenta y se trabaja super bien. A continuación les muestro el proceso de confección.
Happy day, needle-loving friends at @needleworkmonday. Today, as usual, I'm sharing a lovely project with you. This time, as is often the case, it was created for my daughter, who, as usual, had a party and didn't have to dress up as she did, haha. I was happy to indulge her every whim. This was a very special day because one of her best friends graduated, a reason that filled me with joy to see a young man achieve his professional goals.
This time, the design is a long-sleeved dress with a straight neckline and a miniskirt with a slit on one leg. I used Seoul fabric because it's super stretchy, which is what the design required. It's non-transparent and works really well. Below, I'll show you the sewing process.

I cut the skirt in a semicircular or bell-shaped shape, leaving the slit to form the leg opening. I also cut the long sleeve and a ruffled piece at the cuff. For the blouse, I cut a single piece with a straight neckline and its lining, and for the back, a single piece.---
I moved on to sewing, starting with lining the front, since the neckline is straight, and this makes the garment look neater and more polished. Then I joined the front and back pieces at the shoulders. Next, I sewed a sleeve on each side of the blouse and sewed the sides to assemble the blouse.---
Next, I moved on to the skirt to partially close the leg opening, starting at the waist and going about 10 cm down. Then, we sewed the skirt to the blouse and added the ruffle to the sleeve cuff to complete the dress.---

Y así terminamos este lindo vestido juvenil en color negro muy sexy pero elegante, cubierto en la parte superior y una mini falda que se contrasta con la parte superior del vestido.
And so we finish this cute youthful dress in black, very sexy but elegant, covered on the top and a mini skirt that contrasts with the top of the dress.--- Espero les haya gustado este proyecto que aunque tuve algunas dificultades en la parte del cuello y hombros de la parte delantera ya que hacer que cuadraran largo y ancho no me resultó nada fácil al final lució muy bien el vestido para una noche de mucho orgullo y satisfacción para familiares y en este caso amigos de la graduanda. saludos amigos y nos leemos pronto.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Although I had some difficulties with the neckline and shoulders of the front, since getting the length and width to match wasn't easy.
