Hello friends of Music. It's so good to be back in this wonderful community where joy and good music reign. I've been away for a while, posting and exploring Hive more deeply, but they say you always return to where you were happy, and that's why I'm here today, on this Musical Monday. Today I'm bringing you a different vibe than what I usually post, so follow me if you want to see more posts like this. I present my top six songs and flute performances.
Hola amigos y amigas de Music. Que bueno poder volver a esta comunidad tan maravillosa donde reina la alegría y la buena música. He estado un tiempo fuera de aquí, ya que estuve publicando y explorando en Hive más a fondo, pero dicen que uno siempre vuelve a donde fue feliz, y es por ello que estoy aquí hoy, en este Lunes Musical. Hoy les traigo una dinámica diferente a lo que usualmente suelo publicar, así que síganme si quieren ver más publicaciones como esta. Les presento mi top6 de canciones e interpretaciones con la flauta.
As a good flutist, I like to explore and research my instrument, its possibilities, innovations, techniques, other flute players, and of course, music written for or performed on the flute. As you'll notice, in this top 10, I wanted to cover various genres and not focus solely on classical music, as many people think of or associate the flute only with classical music. It truly is a very versatile, melodic instrument that can be used in different ways, from early music to contemporary genres. That's why I created this activity. I also listen to a lot of music and enjoy almost all genres, and I want to show you how valuable and unique the flute can be. Without further ado, let's begin!
Como buena flautista me gusta indagar e investigar mucho sobre mi instrumento, sus posibilidades, innovaciones, técnicas, sobre otros músicos flautistas y por supuesto sobre música hecha para flauta, o interpretada con ella. Como observarán, en este top quise abarcar varios géneros y no enfocarme sólo en la música clásica, ya que muchas personas piensan o asocian la flauta solamente con esta, y verdaderamente es un instrumento además de melódico muy versátil, que se puede utilizar de distintas formas, desde la música antigua hasta en géneros actuales, para eso hice esta dinámica. Además escucho mucha música y me gustan casi todo tipo de géneros y quiero demostrarles lo valiosa y única que puede resultar la flauta. Sin más, comenzamos!!!
6- The Morning A work by Norwegian composer and pianist Edvard Grieg, and from the soundtrack of the film Peer Gynt (1941). I decided to occupy the number 6 spot with this work because I am a true lover of cinema, and especially of incidental or film music. The introduction to the first movement of Suite No. 1 from Peer Gynt is my favorite part of the entire work, as it is performed by the flute and other woodwind instruments as soloists. It portrays the sunrise, where the film's protagonist finds himself lost, asleep in the Moroccan desert, based on the original poem by Norwegian Henrik Ibsen.

6- La mañana Obra del compositor y pianista noruego Edvard Grieg, y de la banda sonora de la película Peer Gynt(1941). Decidí ocupar el puesto #6 con esta obra porque soy fiel amante del cine, y sobre todo de la música incidental o cinematográfica. La Introducción del primer movimiento de la Suite No.1 de Peer Gynt es la parte que más me gusta de toda la obra ya que es interpretada precisamente por la flauta y otros instrumentos de viento madera como solistas; retrata la salida del sol, donde el protagonista de la película se encuentra extraviado, dormido en el desierto marroquí, según el poema original del noruego Henrik Ibsen.
5- Mask Off I'd say this is a great track. First, I'm young, second, I like trap, and third, I'm a Future fan. The flute riff at the beginning of the song has become one of the most recognizable melodies today, inspiring the #MaskOffChallenge on social media, which even I tried to do.

5- Mask off Digo yo que esto es un temazo, en primer lugar soy joven, en segundo, me gusta el trap, y en tercero soy fan de Future. El riff de flauta al comienzo de la canción se ha convertido en una de las melodías más reconocidas actualmente, inspirando así el #MaskOffChallenge en redes sociales, que hasta yo lo intenté hacer.
4- Married Life I don't think there's a Hive user who hasn't seen the 2009 Disney-Pixar film "Up." This beautiful story left us with one of the most beautiful and moving melodies in the world of film soundtracks: "Married Life," the film's opening sequence, performed by several solo instruments, including the flute. In fact, other versions have been made just for flute, and I think I'll be posting it on my profile as well, since I love this melody.

4- Vida de Casados Creo que no hay usuario de Hive que no haya visto la película de Disney-Pixar de 2009 "Up". Esta hermosa historia nos dejó una de las más bellas y conmovedoras melodías en el mundo de las bandas sonoras cinematográficas, se trata de "Married Life" secuencia de apertura de la película, interpretada por varios instrumentos solistas entre ellos la flauta, de hecho se han hecho otras versiones sólo para flauta, y creo que también la estaré publicando en mi perfil puesto que me encanta esta melodía.
3- Agua As a Latina, I couldn't go without a good reggaeton to shake my hips, and what better song than this one by Colombian JBalvin and Puerto Rican Tainy, the lead single from the soundtrack of the film "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run." Since I was little, SpongeBob cartoons were my favorites; I never missed a single episode. I really liked the part where Bob touched his nose, which sounded like a recorder. I think it's why I decided to study the flute.

3- Agua Como latina que soy no me podía faltar un buen reguetoncito para mover la cintura, y que mejor canción que esta del colombiano JBalvin y el puertorriqueño Tainy, sencillo principal de la banda sonora de la película "The Sponge Bob Movie: Sponge on the run". Desde pequeña los animados de Bob Esponja fueron mis preferidos, no me perdía ni un sólo episodio, me gustaba mucho la parte donde Bob se tocaba la nariz, que sonaba como una flauta dulce, creo que por él decidí estudiar flauta😅.
2- Esa Flauta With this, I say it all: "sugar, flavor, savory, sandunga, salsa, Cuba." There's no other way to present this, ladies and gentlemen. Enter Orlando Valle "Maraca," one of the most renowned flutists in Cuba and Latin America, for his unique sound on the flute and for fusing elements of jazz with Cuban music. He is undoubtedly an example for me to follow. This work is titled "Esa Flauta" from his latest album of the same name, released in 2020, dedicated to other representative Cuban flutists, this one specifically to Richard Egües, another example for me to follow. "Pure Cubanness, gentlemen."

2- Esa Flauta Con esto se los digo todo "azúcar, sabor, sabrosura, sandunga, salsa, Cuba". No hay otra forma de presentar esto, señoras y señores, con ustedes Orlando Valle "Maraca", uno de los flautistas más reconocidos en Cuba y Latinoamérica, por su sonido único en la flauta, por fusionar elementos del jazz con la música cubana, sin dudas un ejemplo a seguir para mí. Esta obra se titula "Esa flauta" de su último disco lanzado en 2020 con el mismo nombre dedicado a otros flautistas representativos cubanos, esta en especial a Richard Egües, otro ejemplo a seguir por mi. "Cubanía pura señores"
1- Cornfield Chase In my first place, and as my favorite, is "Cornfield Chase" from the soundtrack of the film "Interstellar." I must say I didn't hesitate to put this piece in first place, since I love everything about it: the film, which I've seen a thousand times and would continue to see; all the music on the soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer; Anne Hathaway, one of my favorite actresses, and I never miss any of her films; the special effects in both the film and the music—a masterpiece, without a doubt. But there's something very important I must tell you: the original piece was not written for the flute. That's why today I'm bringing you one of the many adaptations that have been made, this time by flutist Ariana Piknjač and pianist Ella Piknjač, two sisters I've been following for a long time and who dedicate themselves to uploading covers of songs and works to their YouTube channel. Her version of this work was the one that impressed me most of all the others I found, characterized by its delicacy, the beauty of the flutist's sound, the clarity and versatility of the flute, and, above all, the video recorded at the Museum of Optical Illusions in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

1- Cornfield Chase En mi primer lugar, y como mi favorita "Cornfield Chase" de la banda sonora de la película "Interstellar". Debo decir que no dudé en poner esta obra en el primer puesto, ya que de ella me gusta todo, la película que la he visto como mil veces y la seguiría viendo, toda la música de la banda sonora compuesta por Hans Zimmer, Anne Hathaway, una de mis actrices favoritas y no me pierdo ninguna de sus películas, los efectos especiales tanto de la película como de la música, una obra maestra sin dudas. Pero, hay algo muy importante que debo decirles, la obra original no está escrita para flauta, es por ello que hoy les traigo una de las tantas adaptaciones que se le han hecho, esta vez a nombre de la flautista Ariana Piknjač y la pianista Ella Piknjač, dos hermanas que sigo desde hace mucho tiempo y se dedican a subir Covers de canciones y obras a su canal de Youtube. Su versión de esta obra fue la que más me impresionó de otras que encontré, caracterizada por la delicadeza, la belleza del sonido de la flautista, la claridad y versatilidad de esta y sobre todo el video grabado en el Museo de Ilusiones Ópticas en Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Espero la disfruten tanto como yo.
