우리는 사람들이 함께 살아가는 여러 나라가 있는 지구라는 행성에 살고 있습니다. 각 나라는 그 나라에 정체성을 부여하는 문화를 가지고 있습니다. 문화는 신념, 전통, 관습, 가치관, 의례 등과 같은 요소들의 축적이며, 이러한 요소들은 사회에 반영되어 대대로 전승됩니다.
오늘 저는 한국과 제 나라 베네수엘라에서처럼 특정 국가의 국민이 기념해야 할 기념일에 포함되는 공휴일이 있다는 것을 말씀드리겠습니다.
위에서 언급한 이유로 한국과 베네수엘라의 유사점을 찾아보니, 베네수엘라에서는 설날과 새해를 맞이하는 풍습이 있습니다. 두 나라 모두 가족과 시간을 함께 보내고, 고향을 방문하여 사랑하는 사람을 만나며 가족 간의 유대감을 강화합니다.
그들은 전통 음식을 먹고 음료를 마시며 새해를 맞이하는 의식을 거행합니다. 참고로, 두 나라의 달력에는 차이가 있습니다. 설날은 음력으로 정해지는 반면, 베네수엘라의 새해는 양력으로 정해집니다.
한국의 설날에는 전통적으로 차례와 세배와 같은 고대 의식이 포함되어 있는데, 이는 젊은이들이 돈을 받고 어른들을 공경하는 것을 기념하는 것입니다. 베네수엘라의 새해에는 사람들은 집을 깨끗이 청소하고, 포도 12알을 먹고 소원을 빌며, 여행과 번영의 상징으로 여행 가방을 풉니다.
설날 복장은 전통 의상인 한복입니다. 베네수엘라 설날에는 특별한 의상이 없습니다. 사람들은 보통 우아한 옷을 입습니다.

In the Venezuelan New Year, the house is thoroughly cleaned, the 12 grapes are eaten to make a wish and the suitcases are taken out as a symbol of travel and prosperity.
Their clothing in the Seollal is the Hanbok, which is the typical costume. For the Venezuelan New Year there is no specific costume. People are used to dress in elegant clothes.

# ***Celebración del año nuevo en Corea y Venezuela***.
Vivimos en el planeta tierra, en él hay países donde conviven personas, cada país tiene una cultura que le da su identidad. En la cultura hay acumulación de elementos como sus creencias, tradiciones, costumbres, valores, rituales..., y se manifiestan en sociedad y van pasando de generación en generación.
Hoy comparto que tanto en Corea como en mi país Venezuela, por colocar un ejemplo, existen festividades que se encuentran en las efemérides para ser tomadas en cuenta por los ciudadanos de determinados países.
Por lo antes planteado, buscando similitud entre Corea y Venezuela, se encuentra el Seollal (Año Nuevo Lunar), y el Año Nuevo en Venezuela. Acá ambos países comparten con sus familias, viajan a sus lugares de origen para estar con sus seres queridos para afianzar los lazos familiares.
Comen comidas y beben bebidas tradicionales, hacen rituales para la llegada del año nuevo. Es oportuno mencionar que existen diferencias en cuanto a su calendario, en el Seollal es el lunar y en el año nuevo venezolano se rige por el calendario solar.
En sus tradiciones, el Seollal coreano agrega rituales ancestrales como el Charye y el Sebae que trata del respeto de los jóvenes a las personas mayores por dinero. En el año nuevo venezolano se le hace una limpieza profunda a la casa, se comen las 12 uvas para pedir deseo y se sacan las maletas como símbolo de viaje y prosperidad.
Su ropa en el Seollal es el Hanbok, que es el traje típico. Para el año nuevo venezolano no existe un traje específico. La gente acostumbra a vestirse con ropa elegante.
