Winter time has arrived! Well, that would be a relative thing to say, depending on what part of the planet we are. But for most places, winter arrived indeed or it came on our doorsteps. Winter brings cold, but magical snow! Literally, that's the only reason why I like winter time, because of the snow. It brings a completely different perspective of the same place, just completely transformed into a white fairytale! This captured moment feels as a perfect winter postcard.
It's nice to go for a walk, especially when it's a sunny day. It feels warmer than it actually is, and the snow reflects the sunrays, so it feels as if we had magic around us, sparkling so brightly in the sun. I came so close as to compare the snow to diamonds, sparkling all around us. It reminds me of a childhood too, the very first memories while discovering the beauty of snowy winter tale.
The river next to the path makes the walk in the snow even more pleasant. What a sight for eyes, beautiful colour, so clear and turquoise, in a perfect snowy surroundings. One can go on and on, it feels relaxing and somehow hopeful. I decide to go further, towards the mountains.
It's getting colder and darker, but following the light shining upon the mountains, it feels exciting. The contrast between darkness and light makes it interesting and playful. Up and further, there comes light again.
Here we arrive, so close to the top. Everything is so white, it surely feels like a different planet, a white one, lost somewhere in the universe, only to be discovered by occasional passengers who decide to stop by.
