Sometimes we end up visiting a place that we did not intend to visit at all. This was one of these occasions: the unexpected stop at the rocky beach. Weather was good, not too cold, not too warm, with the sun trying hard to break out of the clouds.
What recalled my intention were these particular stones, big size and different shape, almost each one different colour or nuances. It was however pleasant to see them, but not to walk upon them. Luckily, there is sand not far away, so one can walk easier.
It is nice to see and discover new places. Immediately after discovering them, I like to immortalise them with a few photos. After seeing many beaches with stones or sand, I could say that I have never seen stones as big as these ones. Inside of the water, there are both stones and sand to be seen.
This hidden angle looked quite inviting, like a frame, surrounded by pine trees. It did look like as if the beach were all sandy, but it turned out that the stones out of the sea decided to visit the beach. During the winter time, waves can be pretty rough and bring stones or some algae.
There is also a little creek, that flows into the sea, the meeting of the salty and fresh water. I liked the perspective of it, with the sea and creek reflecting the sky. It looked adventurous.
A little bit further away, there was this distant tower, overlooking the whole beach and the rocky coast, situated on the top of the cliff. It must have served as a vigilance point. I did not go up there, as the day was slowly ending and my trip continued ahead.
But sometimes there are stopovers on our trip, exactly like when we have connecting flights. You never know what you can see.
