¿Existen los Ángeles?/Do angels exist? (Español-English)

De acuerdo a lo que he leído y comprendido, los Ángeles son entidades espirituales emanadas de Dios, mucho antes de haberse creado el Universo, a fin de que lo ayudaran en su gran obra. Desde un punto de vista teológico, estas entidades son perfectas, de tal manera, que son incapaces de hacer el mal o de ir en contra de la voluntad divina, ya que no poseen libre albedrío, y se consideran mensajeros de la divinidad, y agentes de la justicia.

According to what I have read and understood, angels are spiritual entities emanating from God, long before the universe was created, in order to help Him in His great work. From a theological point of view, these entities are perfect, in such a way that they are incapable of doing evil or going against the divine will, since they do not possess free will, and are considered messengers of the divine, and agents of justice.

En mis reflexiones, me he preguntado: ¿Existen los Ángeles? Mi respuesta es “sí”.

In my reflections, I have asked myself: Do angels exist? My answer is “yes.”

En mi niñez, recuerdo a mi madre en las noches rezar aquella oración muy famosa que decía “Ángel de la guarda, dulce compañía, no nos desampares, ni de noche ni de día, no me dejes solo, que me perdería”, oración que evocaba siempre antes de acostarme. De igual forma, cuando mi hijo estaba pequeño y hasta que estuvo adolescente, también yo la rezaba con él en las noches antes de acostarse. Asimismo, cuando yo salía a la calle, mi madre expresaba con mucho amor, “Que tu ángel guardián te cuide y te proteja”; en fin, todo un conglomerado de experiencias vividas.

When I was a child, I remember my mother reciting that famous prayer at night: “Guardian angel, sweet companion, do not forsake us, neither by night nor by day, do not leave me alone, for I would be lost.” She always said this prayer before I went to bed. Similarly, when my son was little and until he was a teenager, I also recited it with him at night before he went to bed. Likewise, when I went out, my mother would say with great love, “May your guardian angel watch over you and protect you”; in short, a whole conglomeration of lived experiences.

Recuerdo también, aquellas pinturas y cuadros que colocaban en las casas para decorarlas con ángeles bebes, sin ningún atuendo en sus cuerpos, que solo llevaban aureolas y alas, y trasmitían mucha paz y felicidad, y mis padres decían que estos eran ángeles que nos protegían y cuidaban. Era para mí muy significativo, ya que la mayoría de las casas que visitaba tenían cuadros parecidos. Hay un famoso cuadro que siempre veía en la casa de mis amistades cuando adolescente, este se trataba de ángeles protegiendo las salidas y entradas de un puente en medio de la naturaleza.

I also remember the paintings and pictures that were hung in homes to decorate them with baby angels, naked except for halos and wings, which conveyed a sense of peace and happiness. My parents said that these were angels who protected and cared for us. This was very meaningful to me, as most of the homes I visited had similar pictures. There is a famous painting that I always saw in my friends' homes when I was a teenager, depicting angels protecting the entrances and exits of a bridge in the middle of nature.

Siendo los Ángeles, emanación de Dios como seres de luz y de energía, y por lo tanto, de naturaleza inmaterial, intangible e invisible, no los podemos ver ni tocar ¿Y cómo sentir su energía?, a través de los sueños, la armonización, la oración y la meditación. Ya que ellos son intermediarios entre lo divino y lo humano.

Angels, being emanations of God as beings of light and energy, and therefore immaterial, intangible, and invisible in nature, cannot be seen or touched. How can we feel their energy? Through dreams, harmonization, prayer, and meditation. They are intermediaries between the divine and the human.

Ahora bien, pienso, que al ser los ángeles, seres celestiales, que no tienen forma humana, la manera como los pintan o como algunas personas dicen que los han visto, significa que el ser humano los concibe o imaginan según la comprensión que tienen de ellos.

Now, I think that since angels are heavenly beings that do not have human form, the way they are painted or how some people say they have seen them means that human beings conceive or imagine them according to their understanding of them.

Investigaciones realizadas por la angelología, lectura de manuscritos, textos sagrados y filosóficos de la antigüedad, manifiestan que para percibir la presencia de estas entidades espirituales, la persona interesada en contactarlos, debe ser puro de corazón y alma y sus peticiones altruistas, elevadas, trascendentes, no egoístas.

Research carried out by angelology, reading manuscripts, sacred and philosophical texts from antiquity, shows that in order to perceive the presence of these spiritual entities, the person interested in contacting them must be pure of heart and soul and their requests must be altruistic, elevated, transcendent, and unselfish.

Considero, que la fe, creencia profunda o convicción en la existencia de los Ángeles, es muy importante para hacer contacto con ellos, ya que es lógico suponer que, alguien que no crea en ellos, no puede, en un momento dado, percibirlos o comunicarse con estas criaturas celestes. Tendría que cambiar su punto de vista sobre los Ángeles, ya que la mente direcciona hacia lo que ella cree o rechaza.

I believe that faith, deep belief, or conviction in the existence of angels is very important for making contact with them, since it is logical to assume that someone who does not believe in them cannot, at any given moment, perceive or communicate with these heavenly creatures. They would have to change their point of view about angels, since the mind directs us toward what it believes or rejects.

Son muchas las cosas que el ser humano desconoce, y debido a esto, debemos investigar, indagar, estudiar para alcanzar un mayor nivel de consciencia y crecimiento personal y espiritual.

There are many things that human beings do not know, and because of this, we must investigate, inquire, and study in order to achieve a higher level of consciousness and personal and spiritual growth.
