Hola a todos nuevamente, estoy de vuelta, la verdad es que éstos días estuve bastante ocupada con cositas de mí viaje a Caracas, y justo de éso vamos a hablar hoy.
Como muchos de ustedes ya saben, soy estudiante de medicina y la carrera la veo fuera de mi estado de origen, por ende cada cierto tiempo estoy yendo y viniendo desde Caracas a Margarita y desde Margarita a Caracas por cuestiones de mis propias clases, no tengo tantas vacaciones durante el año pero cuando las tengo regreso a la isla para descansar y estar un tiempito con mí familia, normalmente solo voy en las épocas navideñas y durante estos meses que corresponden a las vacaciones tradicionales.
Este tiempo que tuve libre fue uno de mucha conexión conmigo misma y con todas esas cosas y personas que me rodean, también durante este periodo conocí ésta maravilla que es HIVE y tuve la oportunidad de comenzar a compartir un poco de mis experiencias y gustos con todos ustedes.
Y bueno, volviendo a la parte del viaje creo que puedo decir que fué bastante tranquilo y a mí parecer también algo terapéutico. Normalmente cuando viajo suelo hacerlo en ferry desde Margarita hasta puerto la cruz y luego desde ése lugar tomamos un autobús de viaje hasta Caracas, y sí, "tomamos" porque yo todavía no viajo sola 🤭, mi mamá es de ése grupo de mamás gallina que te acompañan en todo, así que gracias a ella nunca estoy solita durante estos viajes
Viaje en ferry:
La verdad es uno de mis favoritos por las increíbles vistas que puedes tener del horizonte y del hermoso mar que nos rodea, sobre todo si deciden viajar durante el día y dejar que caiga la noche para poder disfrutar de un hermoso atardecer en el mar, y les juro que no hay nada mejor que eso, una experiencia de completa desconexión y relajación. Mí mamá y yo solemos viajar con la empresa marítima "Navibus" que hasta ahora no nos ha decepcionado, hasta te hacen un descuento al viajar si eres un adulto de la tercera edad y también para los que somos estudiantes, solo necesitas una copia de tu carnet estudiantil vigente y de tú cédula de identidad y una constancia de estudio, realmente a mí parecer es bastante práctico y súper económico yá que el descuento es del 50%, literalmente solo pagas la mitad del pasaje real. En conclusión buenas vistas y buen servicio pero eso sí, la cafetería y las cosas que venden dentro del barco sí son bastante elevadas tanto que una botella de agua mineral te puede llegar a costar 2$, pero no hay mucho problema en eso ya que puedo llevar insumos aparte para comer y beber durante el viaje.
Viaje en autobús:
Éstos autobuses en los que viajamos son super cómodos y tienen asientos reclinables para que puedas descansar durante el viaje y dormír por un rato, obviamente tiene aire acondicionado y cortinas para tapar la luz para que puedas dormir y también las puedes apartar para disfrutar de la vista de la carretera y los diferentes paisajes del camino.
Cuándo toda rsta travesía terminó nos dirigimos hasta la casa de mí tía dónde me quedo, y casualmente ése día era el cumpleaños número 23 de mis primas y no solo llegamos a estár con la familia, sí no, que también pudimos comer torta!!!
Y bueno, eso fue todo durante los últimos días. Estoy un poco cansada del viaje, pero feliz de estar de vuelta!!!. Saludos a todos y gracias por leer...
Hello everyone again, I'm back! The truth is that I've been quite busy lately with things related to my trip to Caracas, and that's exactly what we're going to talk about today.
As many of you already know, I'm a medical student and I'm studying outside my home state, so every so often I'm traveling back and forth from Caracas to Margarita and from Margarita to Caracas for my classes. I don't have many vacations during the year, but when I do, I like to go back to the island to rest and spend some time with my family. I usually only go during the Christmas season and during these months, which correspond to the traditional vacations.
This time off was a time of deep connection with myself and with all the things and people around me. During this period, I also discovered the wonderful HIVE and had the opportunity to begin sharing some of my experiences and interests with all of you.
Well, getting to the part about the trip, I think it's fair to say that it was quite peaceful and, in my opinion, also somewhat therapeutic. Normally, when I travel, I take the ferry from Margarita to Puerto La Cruz and then from there we take a bus to Caracas. and yes, we take it because I still don't travel alone 🤭. My mom is one of those overprotective moms who accompanies you everywhere, so thanks to her, I'm never alone during these trips.
Ferry trip: This is one of my favorites because of the incredible views of the horizon and the beautiful sea that surrounds us, especially if you decide to travel during the day and let night fall so you can enjoy a beautiful sunset at sea. I swear there is nothing better than that, an experience of complete disconnection and relaxation. My mom and I usually travel with the ferry company “Navibus”, which has never disappointed us. They even give you a discount if you're a senior citizen or a student. All you need is a copy of your valid student ID, your ID card, and proof of enrollment. In my opinion, it's really practical and super economical, since the discount is 50%. You literally only pay half the actual fare. In conclusion, good views and good service, but the cafeteria and the things they sell on the boat are quite expensive, so much so that a bottle of mineral water can cost you $2, but that's not a big problem since you can bring your own food and drink for the trip.
Bus trip: The buses we traveled on were very comfortable and had reclining seats so you could rest during the trip and sleep for a while. Obviously, they had air conditioning and curtains to block out the light so you could sleep, but you could also pull them aside to enjoy the view of the road and the different landscapes along the way.
When the whole journey was over, we headed to my aunt's house where I was staying, and coincidentally, that day was my cousins' 23rd birthday, so not only did we get to be with the family, but we also got to eat cake!
