My hiking experience in the Gran Sabana 2002 / Mi experiencia excursionista en la gran sabana 2002. [ ENG / ESP ]

      Greetings friends of #tbt as always it is a great satisfaction to be able to share with all the #hivers of our #web3 in this wonderful ecosystem, on this occasion I want to offer you a very significant moment in my life of university studies and it is related to my ***visit to the Gran Sabana with the "Paria Hiking Club"*** of our flagship house of studies ***Universidad de Oriente Núcleo de Sucre, Carúpano - Venezuela***. ---  --- It turns out that when I entered to study at the university I had the happiness of having an excellent study group from which brotherhood ties arose from the beginning, motivated to that we came up with the idea of creating a group of hiking, trekking and adventures in natural environments, at first with my trusted friends, then many more who shared our interests would be added. At that time I was barely 18 years old, I was in the full bloom of youth, as well as my classmates, it was a lot of fun to create something out of nothing just with the need for extreme adventures. ---  --- We started with outings in nearby places of our municipality, we created our banner and had shirts made to identify ourselves as a group and thus make ourselves known, we tried very hard to be outstanding students since that was one of the conditions to be able to stay in our group, which started with a group of friends, crossed borders and became one of the best Hiking Club of the entire Paria Peninsula. ---  --- It was at that time that we received the formal invitation from Fundamentos to participate in the II mountain hiker meeting in the Gran Sabana Bolívar State Venezuela, imagine our joy and surprise to be invited to a national hiking event, with the Experimental University of Guayana as the host of this mega event, since then we started the search for resources to match and be able to manage all the logistics, transport and mobilization of the representation of our group that would attend this important event. ---  --- There were 6 months of intense self-management activities in all corners of our carupanera land and finally after many sacrifices we were ready for the great adventure, we left on the official university bus to Cumaná where we met the other delegation and from there on executive buses from another direct hub to Ciudad Bolívar where we will be received by the hosts of the event we were transferred to the university headquarters where we spent the night because the departure for Santa Elena de Uairén, was at 4:00 am the next day. ---   --- We left for our destination and after many hours of travel and a too unbearable cold we arrived at our final destination La Gran Sabana we settled in a previous camp, then we arrived where the scheduled activities would take place, it was a dream come true for 15 university students who without thinking conquered great goals. During the week that the camp lasted, they carried out many training, sports activities and excursions in the vicinity of the Gran Sabana, with the support of the Inparques guides and the logistical and assistance support of paramedics and rescue personnel. Groups from almost all the states of the country were present, the amount of young people who were there at that time was truly impressive, I still remember as if it had been yesterday all the adrenaline that ran through my body, being part of a hiking experience of that level, the whole group behaved up to the demands and achieved important places in the camping and mountain competitions that they executed. ---  --- At the end of each day of activity during the night we met to participate in very fun and stimulating recreational activities with songs and war cries of each group, we were able to strengthen many fraternal bonds of friendship and camaraderie that over the years are still maintained. Thank you for accompanying me to the end of my story, grateful for your attention and very happy to relive my full youth with my brothers of life, for everything lived, enjoyed and suffered "Pariah Hiking Club" TO THE HIGHEST PEAK.

      Saludos amigos de #tbt como siempre es una gran satisfacción poder compartir con todos los #hivers de nuestra #web3 en este maravilloso ecosistema, en esta ocasión quiero brindarles un momento muy significativo en mi vida de estudios universitarios y está relacionado con mi visita a la Gran Sabana con el "Club de Excursionismo Paria" de nuestra insigne casa de estudios Universidad de Oriente Núcleo de Sucre, Carúpano - Venezuela. ---  --- Resulta que al entrar a estudiar en la universidad tuve la dicha de tener un excelente grupo de estudios del cual surgió desde el principio lazos de hermandad, motivado a eso se nos ocurrió la idea de crear una agrupación de excursionismo, senderismo y aventuras en ambientes naturales, al principio con mis amigos y amigas de confianza, luego se sumarían muchísimos más que compartían nuestros intereses. En aquel entonces contaba con apenas 18 años de vida, estaba en la plena flor de la juventud, así como también mis compañeros, fue muy divertido crear algo de la nada solo con la necesidad de aventuras extremas. ---  --- Iniciamos con salidas en lugares cercanos de nuestro municipio, creamos nuestro estandarte y mandamos hacer camisas para identificarnos como agrupación y así darnos a conocer, nos esforzamos mucho para ser estudiantes sobresalientes ya que esa era una de las condiciones para poder permanecer en nuestra agrupación, lo que inició con un grupo de amigos, traspasó fronteras y llegó a convertirse en uno de los mejores Club de Excursionismo de toda la Península de Paria. ---  --- Fue en ese entonces que recibimos la invitación formal de Fundamentos para participar en el II encuentro excursionista de montaña en La Gran Sabana Estado Bolívar Venezuela, imaginen nuestra alegría y sorpresa de ser invitados a un evento nacional de excursionismo, con la universidad Experimental de Guayana como anfitriona de este mega evento, desde ese entonces iniciamos la búsqueda de recursos para equiparamos y poder gestionar toda la logística, transporte y movilización de la representación de nuestra agrupación que asistiría a este tan importante evento. ---  --- Fueron 6 meses de actividades intensas de autogestión en todos los rincones de nuestra tierra carupanera y al fin luego de muchos sacrificios estábamos listo para la gran aventura, salimos en el autobús oficial de la universidad hasta Cumaná dónde nos encontramos con la otra delegación y de allí en autobuses ejecutivos de otro núcleo directo hasta Ciudad Bolívar dónde nos recibirán los anfitriones del evento fuimos trasladados hasta la sede de la universidad donde pasamos la noche porque la salida para Santa Elena de Uairén, era a las 4:00 am el día siguiente. ---   --- Salimos rumbo a nuestro destino y luego de muchísimas horas de viaje y un frío demasiado insoportable llegamos a nuestro destino final La Gran Sabana nos instalamos en un campamento previo, luego llegamos a dónde se desarrollaría las actividades programadas, fue un sueño hecho realidad para 15 jóvenes universitarios que sin pensarlo conquistaron grandes metas. Durante la semana que duró el campamento realizaron muchas actividades formativas, deportivas y excursiones dentro las inmediaciones de la Gran Sabana, con el apoyo de los guías de Inparques y el respaldo logístico y asistencial de paramédicos y personal de rescate. Estaban presentes agrupaciones de casi todos los estados del país, la cantidad de jóvenes que estuvimos allí en aquel entonces fue verdaderamente impresionante, aún recuerdo como si hubiese sido ayer toda la adrenalina que corría por mi cuerpo, al ser parte de una experiencia excursionista de ese nivel, toda la agrupación se portó a la altura de las exigencias y lograron lugares de importancia en las competencias de campamento y montaña que ejecutaron. ---  --- Al finalizar cada día de actividad durante la noche nos reuníamos para participar en actividades recreativas muy divertidas y estimulantes con cánticos y gritos de guerra de cada agrupación, pudimos estrechar muchos lazos fraternales de amistad y camaradería que a lo largo de los años aún se mantienen. Gracias por acompañarme hasta el final de mi relato, agradecido por su atención y muy contento de revivir mi plena juventud junto a mis hermanos de la vida, por todo lo vivido, gozado y sufrido "Club de Excursionismo Paria" HASTA LA CIMA MAS ALTA.
