Another happy birthday // Otro feliz cumpleaños.

 Hello friends of #hive and especially the @hive-178265 community, as always, I hope you are all well, as are your families and friends. Today I'm here to talk to you about my sister's birthday celebration. It was on September 24, but I hadn't had a chance to tell you about this special day for everyone in the family.  As you all know, the economic situation here in Cuba is a bit precarious, and there's not much we can do with the monthly salary we earn, but we always try to do something together so that days like these don't go unnoticed, and to make small moments into something we can always remember, treasuring these little things that fill our souls and lift our spirits.  This day was a work day like any other, so we had to do the activity in the afternoon after we all finished our workday, and I say activity, because the truth is we didn't do much, just a little something to spend time with the family and accompany my sister on her day. But anyway, we tried to find the most economical option possible, and that was nothing more and nothing less than Italian food, ha ha ha, so without thinking too much or racking our brains, we ended up settling on this option sooner rather than later.  My sister is the one who always makes the birthday cakes, because the truth is that they turn out really delicious. I made the puff pastries as usual, my mom made some fried plantains, my brother ordered a family-size pizza, and my sister-in-law brought some bottles of soda. It was simple, but everything was really delicious. The idea wasn't to do anything too extravagant; we just wanted to have fun and enjoy some time together so that my sister would feel good and accompanied.  Around 4:00 p.m., we began to set the table to sing "Happy Birthday," something that has become a tradition in our family because we do this very often lately, or rather, we do it whenever someone in our family has a birthday, because I think it's something very beautiful and exciting, and the children love it. They get very happy when they sing this song, and joy fills the house.  Suddenly we started singing, and my sister looked really happy. She loves it when we all get together, and I think that was the best gift for her. After blowing out the candles, as the saying goes, it was time to eat, ha ha ha, and forgive the redundancy, ha ha ha. I'll tell you what, the pizza was wonderful, and so was everything else, but honestly, that was what I liked best about the birthday party.  We spent the rest of the afternoon laughing, telling stories, sharing experiences and memories, as we always do when we get together. The children played and danced to the music, and to finish off, we made spaghetti for dinner, which was undoubtedly delicious. And so, my friends, that's how we spent my sister's birthday, with few resources, but happy, together, joyful and reunited, and my sister was all smiles, which was the goal of the day: for her to have a good time. Hola amigos de #hive y en especial a la comunidad @hive-178265 como siempre espero que se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos. En el día de hoy paso por acá para hablarles sobre la celebración del cumpleaños de mi hermana. El mismo fue el pasado 24 de septiembre, pero no había tenido chance de contarles acerca de este día tan especial para todos en la familia.  Cómo todos saben la situación económica por acá por Cuba está un poco precaria y no es mucho lo que se puede hacer con el salario mensual que cobramos, pero siempre tratamos entre todos hacer algo para que días como estos no pasen por alto, y hacer de pequeños momentos algo que siempre podamos recordar, atesorando estas pequeñas cosas que son las que nos llenan el alma y alegran nuestro espíritu.  Este día era un día de trabajo como otro cualquiera, así que hubo que hacer la actividad en la tarde después que todos terminamos nuestra jornada laboral, y digo actividad, pues la verdad no sé hizo mucha cosa, solo alguito para pasar el rato en familia y acompañar a mi hermana en su día. Pero bueno tratamos de buscar lo más económico posible y esto era nada más y nada menos que comida italiana ja, ja, ja, así que sin mucho pensar y rompernos la cabeza, terminamos más temprano que tarde con esta situación.  Mi hermana es la que siempre hace las tortas de los cumpleaños, pues la verdad es que le quedan superricas, yo como siempre hice las hojaldras, mi mamá hizo unas fritas de plátano, mi hermano encargó una pizza familiar, y mi cuñada trajo unos pomos de refresco, algo sencillo, pero todo muy rico la verdad, pues la idea no era hacer algo tan ostentoso, la idea era solamente divertirnos y pasar un buen rato juntos, que mi hermana se sintiera bien y acompañada.  Sobre las 4 de la tarde comenzamos a preparar la mesa para cantar el feliz cumpleaños, algo que ya se ha vuelto tradición en nuestra familia porque últimamente hacemos esto muy a menudo, o mejor dicho, lo hacemos siempre que alguien de nuestra familia cumple años, pues creo que es algo muy bonito, emocionante y a los niños les encanta, pues se ponen muy felices al cantar este tema y la alegría inunda la casa.  De repente comenzamos a cantar, la verdad mi hermana se veía contenta, le gusta mucho cuando nos reunimos todos y creo que para ella ese fue nuestro mejor regalo. Después de soplar las velas como dice el dicho, a comer se ha dicho ja, ja, ja y valga la redundancia ja, ja, ja. Que les cuento, la pizza estaba maravillosa, y lo demás también, pero la verdad eso fue lo que más me gustó de lo que había en el cumpleaños.  El resto de la tarde lo pasamos riendo, contando anécdotas, vivencias y recuerdos como siempre solemos hacer cuando nos reunimos, los niños jugando y bailando al son de la música, y para concluir hicimos para la cena una espaguetada, que sin lugar a dudas también quedó sabrosa, y amigos así pasamos el día del cumple de mi hermana, con pocos recursos, pero contentos, juntos, felices y reunidos, y mi hermana muy sonriente, que al final era el objetivo del día, que ella lo pasara bien.
