There is a Bangla song that says, " চাঁদের সাথে রাতের পিরিতি হইলে জোসনা ছড়ায়" , it means - "When the night falls in love with the moon, moonlight spreads everywhere."Tonight, as I looked at the sky, these very words came to my mind.
The layer of clouds around the moon created a mysterious atmosphere. In the half-light and half-darkness, the night sky, the clouds, and the moon together painted a wonderful scene. The whole day had been scorching hot, but in the afternoon suddenly strong winds blew, the sky darkened with clouds, and then came the rain bringing a sense of peace and relief. After evening passed, this serene and poetic sight of the moon and the sky unfolded, a view bound to lift one’s spirits.
Looking at such a scene makes me feel that the night is not just darkness, it comes wrapped in beauty, where the light of the moon and stars blends with the light and shadows of human life.
