I think it's one of the favorite treats for everyone, children and adults, I love making desserts with chocolate, this time, I wanted to work with the ingredients I had at home, and I bring you the recipe for an exquisite chocolate and banana cake, with white chocolate chips, this dessert with banana and choclarte, I learned to make it from my grandmother, whenever there were very ripe bananas, she didn't throw them away, she made us this delicious cake, today I bring you a vegan version, but I assure you, it is just as delicious, everyone at home loves it, we start with the step by step.

Ingredients:

  • 250 gr of all-purpose flour, or the flour of your choice, you can use oat flour or almond flour.

  • 3 ripe bananas.

  • 85g white sugar, you can also use brown sugar, or any other sweetener of your choice.

  • 12g baking powder.

  • 60g cocoa powder.

  • 170ml plant-based milk; I used almond milk.

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

  • 80g sunflower oil, or any other plant-based oil.

  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar.

  • 60g white chocolate chips.

  • 50g dark chocolate chips.


Preparation:

1- Start by mashing the bananas thoroughly with a fork.

2- When the bananas are well mashed, add the sugar, oil, vanilla, and milk. Mix everything well with a whisk.

3- Next, add the flour, mixed with the baking powder and baking soda, previously sifted, along with the cocoa powder, and mix with a spatula using folding movements.

4- Finally, add the dark chocolate bar, mix, and transfer the mixture to a previously greased and floured mold. Add white chocolate chips and bake for approximately 45 minutes. You can also insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean, you'll know it's ready.

5- Once the time has passed, remove the cake from the oven, unmold it, and let it cool. Then, enjoy this delicious chocolate dessert. This cake has a wonderful flavor and aroma. If you like bananas, it will be the perfect dessert. Decorate it with a little melted chocolate on top for a special touch.
