September is slowly coming to an end, so we should take advantage of the every sunny days.
Yesterday I wrote a post about the orchard and listed how many fruit trees and trees I have. You can see the post HERE.
And today I see that I miscalculated.
I didn't count the young cypresses or the young hibiscus.
I stopped counting, I've passed 60.
I envy gardeners with lots of flowers blooming now :) We enjoy the jungle of greenery. Ours only blooms Fat coke (lat. Hylotelephium spectabile). You can find a few roses blooming, but autumn roses skipped something or postponed it, but the whole year is strange.
But this year the purslane (Portulaca oleracea) has been very good and there are a lot of it in the garden and in the yard. We have never had so much of it. If anyone knows a good recipe for preserving purslane or putting it in a jar, let me know We mostly use it fresh for salads.
A few weeks ago we wrote about plants that positively surprised us, of course I mentioned zucchini but they were not my favorite.
But by the end of the year it will be for sure.
Because they are still blooming and new ones are arriving.
Another pepper harvest, I think there will be another one after this one
and we are picking all the peppers It will depend on the weather.
This round of peppers is smaller than the last ones, but that is to be expected.
The fig tree is still bearing fruit, I'm picking it slowly.
My favorite thing is to go to her place and eat a few.
The Albizia has started to produce seeds.
We plan to collect the seeds and plant them for new plants.
