I bought one camera earlier, so I moved it, found a place for it to be placed.
Two or three weeks ago I bought another camera.
And I decided to place them on the terrace pillars.
So that one faces the entrance to the yard and the other faces the entrance to the garden.
I have already installed streetlights on the poles. Since they use two wires and the cable is three-wire, I have one free to use for powering the cameras, and I will take the zero from the streetlight. In our country, the practice is to lead the zero directly to the light and the phases to the switch.
I added a piece of cable and a socket to the existing box.
Since I have three poles, I will place the cameras at the ends
That's how I placed the cables with the sockets
in our case the yellow-green wire is used for grounding. since I don't need it for the lanterns
I will use it to power the cameras and connect it to the phase in the main box.
And the power supply for the cameras is ready. You get a cable with the cameras but not an adapter.
But each camera says what power requirements it requires. I used two adapters from mobile phones.
I temporarily hung the cameras with ties
Until I test whether they will fit there. They are sheltered a little under the terrace, to save them from rain and snow.
Installing the cameras is easy. You just scan the QR codes with your phone and follow the instructions. I bought one before and one after. So I got cameras from different manufacturers. And they both have their own apps. I wasn't very patient to try to connect them both to one app. But each camera has its own app, that's how it is. Next time I'll think about it and buy more cameras from one manufacturer.
Thanks for reading. Until next time. Stay healthy.
