Sunshine, free time and surplus energy which influenced me, I decided to prepare an unusual lunch. It's about snails. In many European cuisines, snail is cooked frequently and serves in a restaurants with a high price. So for us with a short pocket, this food is unattainable. But we Serbs would not be Serbs if when not made truculence (inat). And I do it, and I want to try the food that unattainable for me. And so without much money, I prepared expensive specialties of French cuisine. What would have been said in my country ''poor people they're back punch''.

In the morning, when the weather is cold and when the forest is damp. Then snails go in search of food, or just walk around. The walk did not finish well for some snails. In the nearby forest, I found twenty snails, but I did not like the idea to cook them. I even gave up at one point, but the devil on my shoulder beat the angel and brought home a couple snails (In the end, I only cooked two snails, the rest were survivors). By the way, I also collected spicy herbs that I needed to prepare this lunch. Before entering the forest, I stopped near a source of drinking water. I rested a bit here, listening to the birds' tweets and the noise of water. There I drank some water, filled the battery for the rest of the week, and headed for a food search. After a beautiful walk in nature, I returned to the house with ingredients and slowly prepared lunch.

Proceeding

I first put the snails in the water for some time, to bathe and prepare for the jacuzzi (Unfortunately, the jacuzzi did not like them). For the preparation of the snail, the most important thing is how to cook them and how long we cook.

First cooking

In hot water we put snails, so as to soften and so we can easily get them out of the house. Take them out of the house, remove the not edible part. And let's go back to the water again in order to cook for a while.

Second cooking

We put them in a new hot water with spices. From the spice we put it : salt, pepper, garlic, onion, bay leaf. And leave it on the midle fire to cook for two hours. In a separate water, we put the snail house to be cooked to disinfect them.

When we finish cooking, then we prepare the sauce. Spice plants that I picked up in the forest and garden, I mixed with butter. These were plants: nettle, dandelion, lettuce, garlic and melissa officinalis (I do not know how it's called in English). I also picked up a little edible flower for decoration. Then I put the sauce and snails in house of snails. Then we put them in the oven for ten minutes. And we serve with white wine.
