Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog. It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.

Are We Financially Responsible To Other People

In the early church, as recorded in the Bible, no one suffered from hunger or lack because believers supported one another. Likewise, in Bro. In Eli's international ministry, members take care of each other, ensuring no one dies of hunger or sickness. This reflects the teaching that helping others financially is part of our duty as Christians.

Bro. Eli explained that believers should always be ready to assist others because we are instruments of God’s kindness and generosity.

In Psalm 37:21, the Bible says, “The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.” This verse reminds us that failing to repay borrowed money is a sign of wickedness. As Christians, we should not behave like the wicked who borrow and refuse to repay; instead, we should not only repay what we owe but also give freely to those in need.

Romans 13:8 also teaches us to “Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” This passage reinforces the principle that Christians should strive to live free of debt and be generous towards others.

Bro. Eli emphasized that while borrowing is not a sin, failing to repay is against God’s law. He encouraged us to help those in need as part of our Christian duty. By doing so, we extend the love and hand of God to others, especially to those who are struggling.

Thank you for reading.
