Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog. It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano
It is essential for us to understand our future, especially the future God has ordained for us. As believers, and particularly as Christians, we are not meant to walk blindly; we are expected to have insight into what lies ahead.
The Bible is more than a book of doctrine; it is also a book filled with prophecy. Scripture makes it clear that prophecy exists so that we may believe when we see it fulfilled. Jesus said in John 14:29, “And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it does come to pass, you might believe.” Through prophetic revelation, God gives us glimpses of future events so that when they occur, our faith is strengthened. This means Christians are not left in the dark; God reveals things ahead of time so we can be aware and prepared.
We are not called to simply drift through life, assuming whatever happens is inevitable or accepting the mindset of “what will be, will be.” Instead, God has given us the ability with His guidance to shape our future. Proverbs 16:9 teaches, “A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps.” This means humans can plan, dream, and envision their future, but ultimately, God leads and establishes our path.
Therefore, we are expected to think ahead, plan for what God has destined for us, and seek His direction. We don’t sit passively waiting for life to unfold; we partner with God, trusting Him to guide every step as we pursue the future He has prepared.
