Greetings everyone, I'm glad to participate in this hiveghana weekly prompt “This Generation"
Things have really changed in this Gen Z generation. In the old days, there was discipline because parents back then never tolerated nonsense. Everything was in order, unlike what we see today. The funniest part about this generation is that they have turned many of the good lessons we were taught into bad things, simply because they believe those lessons are “old school.”
One of the behaviors this generation has sadly normalized is men wearing earrings. Personally, I dislike this because I believe earrings are meant for ladies. In the old days, if a man wore earrings, people would think he wasn’t mentally stable. But in this generation, they proudly embrace it and even call themselves “niggas” as if it’s something fashionable or cool.
In this present generation there's no home training again because most of them they are doing anyhow, because most of ladies have changed to “aristo” and they are comfortable with this job and they can boldly identify themselves as “aristo” and most of them have seen this as an opportunity to make more money for themselves not knowing that they are destroying their body and their reputation, even though most of them will dress half naked and been walking on street all this nonsense I really dislike but in those days these of this nonsense is not rampant because then our mothers and grandparents then will dress decently.
One of the things that this generation have normalized as good things is for ladies to be using legchain because in those days people believe that anyone that using legchain is herbalist but in this generation they have normalize it as fashion and that's how most of ladies today her misbehaving
Tattooing the body is another trend that has gone too far. In our African culture, it was considered inappropriate for a woman to have tattoos, but today it’s seen as fashion. Some ladies even go as far as tattooing their private parts, which is totally unacceptable. Back in the day, people who tattooed their bodies were believed to be herbalists or cultists, but now it has become normal, making it difficult to tell the difference between responsible women and those with questionable morals.
Lastly, it’s now common to see young men plaiting their hair. Traditionally, that was meant for women, but today, guys do it freely without shame. This clearly shows that this generation has turned things completely upside down.
