Le di un look totalmente nuevo a mi cocina con los paneles de vinilo adhesivo, Olvídate del cemento y el desorden. Estos paneles son fáciles de instalar, tienen una adhesión increíble y lo mejor de todo, ¡son resistentes al agua! Sí, se pueden mojar, lo que los hace perfectos para salpicaduras.

I gave my kitchen a whole new look with adhesive vinyl panels. Forget about cement and mess. These panels are easy to install, have incredible adhesion, and best of all, they're waterproof! Yes, they can get wet, which makes them perfect for splashes.
Acá les dejo el paso a paso de cómo transformé por completo el salpicadero de mi cocina usando esta solución genial. Además, les dejo una serie de ideas para que se inspiren a realizar su propia remodelación o decoración sin estrés.

Luego de escoger el modelo que queríamos entre varias opciones, ya que la variedad de diseños es infinita y vienen en distintos tamaños. Se procedió a limpiar muy bien toda la superficie para que esté libre de polvo y grasa, se retiraron los tiradores.
After choosing the model we wanted from several options, since the variety of designs is endless and they come in different sizes, we proceeded to thoroughly clean the entire surface to remove dust and grease, and removed the handles.
Procedí a medir la superficie donde iba a colocar el vinil, para este proyecto fueron necesarios 7 paneles pero compre 3 demás por si dañaba alguno en su instalación ( estos que compre median 25 cm x 25 cm. Después, protegí con cinta de embalar el área de la moldura decorativa para dejarla lisa y que al momento de colocar el vinil no tuviese ningún tipo de textura , que pudiera formar burbujas al momento de colocar el vinil.
I proceeded to measure the surface where I was going to place the vinyl. For this project, seven panels were necessary, but I purchased three additional ones in case I damaged any during installation. (the ones I bought measure 25 cm x 25 cm). Next, I protected the decorative molding area with packing tape to keep it smooth so that when I applied the vinyl, there would be no texture that could cause bubbles to form.
Se retiró la película protectora del vinil y la fije a la cerámica de arriba hacia abajo evitando que queden burbujas, al colocar la otra lamina trata de que el patrón del diseño coincida para lograr un acabado más prolijo.
Remove the protective film from the vinyl and attach it to the ceramic tile from top to bottom, avoiding bubbles. When placing the other sheet, try to match the pattern of the design to achieve a neater finish.
El vendedor me dijo que soportaba agua y calor pero igual tenía un poco de miedo de que con el calor de la cocina o al momento de freír algún alimento salpicara y se dañara el vinil, coloque una lámina de madera del ancho de la cocina en color negro y la fije a la pared.
The salesperson told me that it could withstand water and heat, but I was still a little afraid that the heat from the stove or splatters from frying food would damage the vinyl, so I placed a black wooden sheet the width of the stove and attached it to the wall.
A el marco de la ventana le coloque otro vinil tipo madera clara.
I put another light wood-type vinyl on the window frame.

Luego de tener toda el área cubierta por el vinil, procedí a instalar los tiradores de las gavetas que había pintado con pintura en esmalte mate color negro para que hiciera juego con el vinil y también a instalar los tomacorrientes.
After covering the entire area with vinyl, I proceeded to install the drawer handles, which I had painted with matte black enamel paint to match the vinyl, and also installed the electrical outlets.
Y lista mi cocina! Puedes realizar cualquier tipo de decoración con estos vinilos hay unos que no son gruesos y puedes forrar cualquier tipo de superficie hay unos para las neveras y quedan como nuevas.
And my kitchen is ready! You can decorate anything with these vinyl stickers. Some are thin and can be used to cover any type of surface. There are some for refrigerators that make them look like new.
